My whole bag is used Cobra clubs - F9 irons, One Length Hybrid (cheat stick), LTDx 5w, Rad Speed Driver! I almost feel bad never buying a new club bc I like their stuff 😂
Unless it's to get something custom fitted, I can't understand why anyone would buy new. Second hand prices are generally pretty good, especially for cobra gear (I have the f9 one length irons, I am looking at getting a 4H and a F9 driver very soon).
I have the Cobra F8s in the single-length. I bought them off Facebook market place for $220U.S. I'm never buying another set of clubs unless I have to. I love them and I'm an 8 handicap.
Had a set of Cobra King II Oversized for years. Decided to upgrade and I found a guy wanting to get away from his 2 year old Pings. I am glad I switched. Sometimes a change is not a bad thing but the loss of weight was great. Also I switched from steel to graphite shafts.
I got the ltdx 4-pw for £400 and love them. Power bats and I'm off 12. Think people do put certain clubs into certain handicap ranges. I don't think this is always the way. 18 HCP who can't chip n put but great ball striker. 10 HCP with a mustard short game but misses greens for fun, if you get my drift 👍
Exactly. Look at not a scratch handicap golfers channel.his ball striking and swing is absolutely shocking, however his short game and course management mean he plays off something like 7.
Love Cobra, all the tech at a much lower price! Insane discounts, you just need to be patient and wait for the deals. I game the Carbon Forged Tec irons, and F9 Speedzone hybrids and woods. Put the set together for $1200 CAD a few years back and can’t justify replacing any club.
Mt entire bag is Cobra Radspeed. 9 degree Driver, 3w, 5h one length, 6-P,G one length, 2023 Snakebite wedges. Bought them all brand new about 6 months ago and love them. Extremly cost effective for somebody who is still shooting 100-110. lol
Just here to say that the new cobra mb is absolutely phenomenal. I ordered 4-9 just based on looks at address alone and they are the best feeling blades ive ever hit and ive hit em all. Absolutely outstanding set of blades
I’m a bit of an iron snob. Been using Wilson staff, three different sets of Honma forged irons, Miura’s etc. On a whim I bought a new set of Cobra LTDx one length just for shits and giggles for only $360 USD. Now I can’t take them out of the bag. They are so much fun and I’ve shot my lowest scores with them. For the record I’m a 6 hcp. Now I’m considering the 22 version of the Forged Tec one length. Have them sitting in my Amazon cart right now.
@@spjm17 Hey bud. I have 5-GW (7 irons). They have Nippon Modus Tour 105 steel shafts, and midsized Tour Velvet black grips. Was gonna sell for £500 plus shipping. They've only been used for about 6-7 rounds, still in great condition.
Great video man. Great points. I actually just sold my 14’ Tour Preferred MC for $100 more than what I bought them for 3 years ago! I wanted something more forgiving as I’m not playing much and my single digit turned into a 2 digit. Went with Nike Vapor Fly.
I bought a lightly used set of standard length 2020 Forged Tec irons for $580 about a year-and-a-half ago. I thought it was a great deal, but the seller was a little annoyed that he got less than half of what he paid for the clubs new.
Ive seen a couple listings for the LTDx irons being lower, but it only further annoys me about how consistently annoyingly high the Radspeed irons have been because I do actually want a set of them, particularly the variable/standard length ones which are much more rare than the One Length (nothing against one length, I just like the look of the other Radspeeds and can blend them with my SpeedZone one lengths). I should also mention I want the Radspeed for a specific reason where if I was just purely looking to upgrade my clubs I would likely have more interest in the LTD or even ForgeTech versions.
got fitted and ordered Cobra clubs , got a phone call next day to say delivery had been delayed until Fab 2025 . four months , no thankyou , alternative manufacturer ordered instead
I have Cobra Speedzone 6 to PW + GW Cobra Radspeed Driver Cobra Radspeed 5 Wood Cobra Mim 60° wedge Cobra Turino putter No one should switch to blades after just 1 year. Unless you're out there daily literallt... So I disaggree with that part.
A few years ago, I won a set of cobra F9 irons in a raffle at my local club. You’re definitely not the type of irons I play so I gave them to my brother-in-law who is just starting out golfing. I remember him saying that he didn’t even like how chunky they were for someone who knew nothing about golf.
Ive been using the LTDx 4i and Radspeed 5i to G one length irons for about 1 year now and love them. Also have the blue snake bite one length wedges in 56 and 60. The wedges are so nice. Hoping to pick up a set of forge tec irons in the next few months.
I'm sure you must have answered this before but would you consider the Cobra FlyXL iron set new at £250, better value than a more premium 2nd hand set at a similar price? This would be for a high handicapper who plays very infrequently.
That's what I played with last year, mate, and they were great. Plenty of help getting the ball into the air and the lofts were decent for distance. I'd highly recommend someone only playing every so often. Still have the set sitting 6-SW
I have games Cobra since F7 one length. Had F7’s, F8’s, F9’s and now game 2020 Forged tec one length. With Bryson gone, I am concerned they are going to get out of single length iron game. If they do, I will be done with Cobra. Handicap went from a 12 to a 2 after making the switch. No chance I would ever go back to a different swing for every club (different ball position, different posture, different distance from ball)…no thanks.
I still own cobra F9 I still bomb most guys with callaway paradym and taylormade. But my iron are Cleveland Cg16 laser milled with dynamic gold S300 shaft... It also fly like a rocket anda very very long and very forgiving.... I will not get rid of it.....
I truly believe that Cobra will be doing away with their one-length productions. All the other "main" one length providers have already stopped, Now that Cobra is without Bryson to be their staff one length players, they won't be able to sell them.
How’s your yardage gapping? How far are you hitting the 4 or 5 iron? My one length 5 iron I am struggling to get it to go much further than my one length 7 iron, just a higher ball flight. I’m using forged I may switch to ltdx to try to fix the problem

Love Cobra. Radspeed driver and 5w, ltdx 4h, air x irons 5-G, Snakebite 56
Nice! I'm same boat. Love my Cobras irons.

I've noticed this too. What is the reason why normal Radspeeds are so hard to find compared to One Length and why are they MORE expensive than LTDx?

With the year coming to an end, it would be great to do a low, mid, high handicap irons for 2025 at cheap 2md hand prices.

Quick question? God some x-12s and a big Bertha 9 degree driver in good condition. What sort of price is reasonable to ask?
Got not god
X12’s I imagine £60 on facbook, £80 on eBay. Depends what year of big Bertha mate. 👍 sold listings on eBay is a great guide 🙌
Cheers pal. Will look into listings and get off my butt and do some research lol always easier whilst chilling to ask an expert!

Cobra might make a great product but their logos are huge behind the face, which is a turn off for me.
There’s no apostrophe needed in the word clubs mate - it’s just a plural. Too much time avoiding the classroom maybe?
Thin to win right Simon!! The clubs look good and nice review!!🏌♂⛳
