I am 31 years old, but this video is eye opening towards planning our financial freedom.
You are excellent Sir. you opened the eyes of people who were sleeping till 40+. Outstanding advise.
Very good information and well explained and I feel you should keep making more videos and add some points like don't get trapped in scams, don't get trapped by family/friends etc emotions etc.
Sir, I'm very thankful for your advice and informations. This is very helpful for all senior citizens.
Nice Video for Family People in their Late 40s.....Who have Still not taken Health or Life Insurance....Thank You......
Interesting and awesome video! Dr. Bhat at his best and the way he articulated these points looks like bang on the bulls-eye for every individual. Very relevant and practical points coming from an able maestro. Thanks for sharing your wisdom🙏🙏
Thank you so much for your kind words . I am honoured sir
Dr. , that was absolutely brilliant. I am on the verge of retirement and still mighty confused if I should take a lump sum or monthly pension. If any reader can throw light on this as well , thanks
Thanks sir it is helpful for me. I am 43 now. Very helpful. I am from Ethiopia, Africa
Thank you so much. That was so well done. Crisp, to the point, and really useful.
Well presented all the important points in simple ways…Simply Superb 👍
I personally feel , this video is very good , I watch all the videos and I really appreciate this initiative. After watching this video, I would highly recommend to add "Deferred Annuity" in your financial planning , Dr. Chadrakanth has already suggested it earlier I am reiterating because of interest rate , Annuities are one of the best option which is guaranteed income where percentage is not written but an actual amount is written in the document/policy, what you are going to get as pension after certain period or immediately (Deferred or Immediate annuity). Very aptly said for NRI , one should decide where to retire , it is very crucial.
Mr. Viral Dave: Annuity is good, although current yields are 5.5 - 6.5 ℅. With declining interest rates from bank & GOI small savings schemes it will be a good investment idea. Differed annuity and return of capital to nominee are best choices for senior citizens. We can make investment in annuity at periodic intervals as age progresses. Consult your financial planner for sound advice,
Not run away by night brokers.
@@natarajanravi6973 I agree , I no where mentioned that ONLY annuity is the best option , no where I mentioned that other avenues are NOT worth exploring. Annuity is just one of the critical items in entire portfolio that is what I meant to say.
Your clips on retirement are very good and informative and also more practical. But, regarding Health Insurance in India being NRI outside India requires more ground level details. For example; we can’t top up health insurance received from our employer in Middle East. Presume you’re advising us to take a separate Indian Health Insurance Policy in addition to employer provided Insurance policy in Middle East.
This video caters a lot of dignity. Kudos.
Very educative video, eye opener for me. Thanks for this video
Medical insurance from employer mostly ceases on retirement. Buy a cover atleast 5 years before retiring. Cover all pre existing diseases. In consultation with your financial planner decide a proper allocation of fixed income securities and mutual funds. Prepare a will and have it notorized. Prepare an estate plan detailing all assets to facilitate claims. Cut wasteful expenses and prepare a proper budget. Allocate adequate money for various goals like children's education, marriage etc if it is not accomplished. Retirement calculators are only indicators, every individual requires a tailor made plans.
Brilliantly summerized .
Good video, very well presented and precise points.
I am very thankful to you for your valuable advise.
Golden words. Sound advice. Please keep it up 👍

Very good information sir.
Excellent message sir for ever.👍
Thanks sir, for providing such valuable information.
Thanks for sharing valuable information ℹ️
Very useful video Sir.. Pls continue your good work
Good insight sir. Thank you.
Great suggestions. Main expense will health care related after retirement. Also don’t forget inflation is going to kill your savings particularly in India. Stay healthy.
Very wisely said. In India you don't have any support from the Government even though you have been paying taxes all your working life. The present manner in which our country is progressing shows a very dismal picture. Inflation is on the rise and taxes are on the increase. All these factors will kill your savings.
Additionally the medical bills are over inflated and the Medical community here is hell bent on overcharging and cheating you.
These factors make me feel very insecure...helpless and TOTALLY at the mercy of this inexperienced and corrupt Government.
sir,your videos are eye opener
Very nice advise sir. I thank you very much, sir.
Biggest liability is towards the devine God. All other Liabilities are materialistic. My advice to all is live off the grid life, away from all chartered accountants. Hari Om.
Very good advice. Thanks 👍

IF I SURVIVE ON MY SS & PENSION INCOME; TRANSFERRING FUNDS EVERY MONTH FROM U. S. TO MY NRE ACCOUNT DURING MY RETIREMENT & LIVING IN BETWEEN INDIA AND U.S….& am an U. S. CITIZEN.
The question is: DO I HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE INDIAN TAX SYSTEM?
Take care of your US taxes . That enough
@@NRIMoneyClinic thanks… U S taxes are taken care of every year in time. Your article is an eye opener for many like me; who prepares to retire within an year.
Last month I bought my retirement home in Pune, paid off NY apartment’s mortgage, not much debt, children are on their own way… no worries! & think it’s the time to LEAVE THE JOB & LIVE! like;
BYE BYE TENSION, WELCOME PENSION!
👍👍
