I LOVE Hourglass! I just started purchasing and wearing cosmetics last year (after a prolonged illness) and got the 4 pan blush and 6 pan face Holiday pallets last year. I got the Ghost pallet when it came out last year too (i can see why they had to bring that beauty back!). This year I got the 4 pan face pallet - it just seems like a nice compact one to travel with.
i love the pigmentation of the bronzer and the blush!

This seems like a very natural palette. I'd like to try the metallic powders. But I highly agree with you on the blushes! I just recently got a hold of the sweet mulberry blush duo from cover fx, and it is a really pretty cool toned blush set. Not enough of those!

Great review and thank you for the comparisons. I've really been enjoying this palette and using it quite a lot. The bronzer works for me where some Hourglass bronzers look muddy or just weird on me. I already have Mood exposure which is one of my favs so I don't mind having it in the palette. All of the shades look beautiful on you! Thank you for such a detailed review.

WOW. That looks as beautiful as all the other Ambient pallets that they have brought out each year, 🌲 🌲. I love Dim light over foundation, as a setting powder, you don’t need much either like you said, The bronzer looked beautiful and can’t see any glitter particles in it 💗💗😍😍. xxxx

I love using my hourglass face pallet for the eyes when I’m in a hurry!! Great for a monochromatic look!! 😁 I wasn’t going to get this one but after seeing your review I now want it!!! I Do however have vol 3 so I don’t know what to do!! 😩😂

I love my Chanel products but the Hourglass bronzers and blushes are so beautiful and wear so well. The bronzers are not orange like a lot of bronzers on the market and they are not overloaded with shimmer. I hope they never discontinue them.

Hmmm ... may go for the mini since I never got Unlocked. This video is really helpful since I’m not sure I “need” this one .... but what I have ended up needing Michele, are those crazy Natasha Denona Chrome eyeshadows. I loved them in photos etc but they seemed way over the top for me to actually have a use for nowadays until you demoed them applied lightly with a brush - wow! I ordered Scarab, got it yesterday and with just a tiny dab and blending, could not get over how gorgeous it is. Subtle but so good. Ended up ordering two more ... so lucky I can hold off the cravings for Sculpture!

I have diffused bronze light and it’s the perfect cool toned bronzer for my skintone. I don’t see any microglitters in it and I don’t remember seeing that in any of their bronzers when I swatched them. However their blushes do have microglitters.

@@AD-wm9if I am amazed with this palette, it is my first time using any Hourglass powders or products and I finally understand what the hype is all about. I am thoroughly impressed by the quality, the amount of product, the price is a bit scary, but totally worth it. Do I think you need both palettes from this collection, no and I quickly realized that after purchasing the unlocked edit and the sculpture palettes. I would go with the larger of the two palettes of your trying to decide which one to go with. Overall, I love the sculpture palette!
Tati has used the 3-pan Abiant Finishing Powders for years.. she was still using it on her latest videos from a few months ago. It's one of the few products she has used consitantly for the last 3-4 years.

I have the 2017 palette, and I am very fair. The bronzer seems darker in this year's palette or maybe the swatch was just lighter. I thank you for the comparison. I think this year will be a skip, though they are my favorite powders. Especially on my mature skin. With a light hand they just add enough youthful glow, which we loose with wisdom.

The better make 2 palettes I guess. This pallet is a little on the pricey side but it’s a full face all in one, which at the end of the day may actually be a high quality cost effective makeup kit ☺️
Perfect timing! I just got this palette early as a Rouge and have yet to try it, I love the Ghost one from last year. I also just ordered the new 3 pan one from Nordstrom -powder, blush and bronzer - because Mel Thompson recommended. I have a lot of their single pans - blushes and powders but love their combo palettes. It looks beautiful and natural on you, you glow!

Only watching this because I love your channel. I no longer purchase hourglass because a lot of their products let me down so I just put the whole brand on a no list. Saves me a lot of money.. HOWEVER I did just get the Tom Ford moonlit violet palette based on your video and swatches so I’m excited for that?

The thing with hourglass is their products last absolutely ages - 11g each for finishing powder singles. Additionally you also only need a small amount each time.

I feel like Dim light is in most of their palettes 🙁 and it’s frustrating that they can’t give us new shades for the price they charge. I’m interested in the 4 pan palettes only but I still enjoyed this video as I love hourglass powders. 👍🏼😊

I really found the comparisons helpful... I was not planning to purchase, but till kind of on the fence... now seeing the 2017 palette compared to the sculpture, I'm done. I'll skip this year! I am hoping the new blush shade comes to Europe, because I find that one a lot more interesting.

I just can’t help myself with the Hourglass holiday palettes! I use them daily and like to take the whole top row and swirl it around my face. It buffs, it blurs, and it provides a beautiful glow!
Hi Michele! I have fair skin, would you say this is fair skin friendly? The highlighter looks like it might be too dark for me but it’s hard to tell!
