Try Lucas oil treatment for your Tick, and Colaw's rv salvage in Carthaige Missouri is pretty good for old rig parts !!😊

It is so good to see that you can trouble shoot and repair yourself. Sadly, there are many who think that just because an RV or towed is new that they are bullet proof and don't need the skills to or tools to make repairs....

Thanks for watching. True, True. It is a lost art but my friend says you have to keep the mechanics in business also. Not all people want to be hands on when it comes to mechanical things and that is ok if you have the money to pay someone as they need to make money also. But it makes like a lot easier on the road if you can DIY and carry a basic set of tools. My dad was a mechanic and when he was on the road he even carried spare parts, like water pump, alternator. I have a toad so I figure worst case I can drive to a parts house.

@@TignerAdventures If a person goes camping and can't set up a tent or cook over a fire then perhaps they should stay in a motel and eat in a restaurant. If a person try's to travel in an RV and can't repair it, is no different... I call it helpless... A person needs to know their limits and live within them or educate themselves... clearly you like to learn new things and continue to educate yourself as you have aged.....

Good job z David! How many miles on your car now?

Thanks Dennis. 242,276. That doesn't count the 48,000 of towing. For the most part though it has a lifetime warranty from Autozone on most parts. lol The nice thing about older vehicles are they are easier to work on.
