- Gex 64 or Gex 3D Into The Gecko released in 1998, and aimed to compete alongside Mario on the Nintendo 64, and other platformers on the Playstation 1. We are reviewing this game in 2019 to see how it holds up 21 years later and see if gex was best.

I played the n64 version as a kid. I recently played the ps1 version and I actually thought it was a very fun and underrated game. You should give the ps1 version a try - it seems much better.
One of my childhood staples. Extremely fond memories of this and the other 2 in the series.
Hey! I don't know how I've found your channel but it's very good. Keep the good job. Cheers from Brazil!
I had no idea what was going on as a child . Thanks, 64 version
One of my all time favorite games. I really want a remake because this game was before its time
I'm confused - Gex's 3D model is definitely made of polygons. At first I thought you were saying he was made from some crazy real-time NURBs solution but that wouldn't have been possible on PS1 or N64.
I think what you meant was that while some characters like Mario in SM64 were constructed out of separate models, Gex is one cohesive model deformed by the skeleton object.
Or can you clarify what you meant?
Played the psone versions way back when. Dana Gould was actually a selling point too. Gex was one of the first fully voiced wisecracking mascot. Weird, wonderful and frustratingly fun gems.
your vids are really good man don’t stop
I thought the Titanic level was quite a unique concept for a game, but I hated the shark lol.
I never knew it was exclusive.
What were the removed ones?
You should do '20 year later' videos on:
-Bomberman Hero for N64 (a real true 3d platformer, unlike Bomberman 64, and an amazing and underrated game).
-Toy Story 2 [N64 & PS1] (one of the most amazing, unique, and underrated 3d platformers ever made.)
-Wallace and Gromit in Project Zoo [Gamecube] (In my opinion, the greatest 3D Platformer on the gamecube, beating Super Mario Sunshine)
-Earthworm Jim 3D (notorious for being "bad", yet I liked it).
-Frogger 1997 (PS1 & PC)
-Banjo-Tooie (due to it's insane amount of confusing and annoying back-tracking with large interconnected worlds, unlike Kazooie, and it's turning 20 this year)
-Rainbow Six [N64]
-Chameleon Twist [N64]
Gex was so weird! Your content has really good production value, keep it up!
The _Gex_ series is best played on the PlayStation. That's where it really shines.
Boy you gotta admit this game was a fucking trip and I loved it
wow didn't know it had cutscenes o.o
Ps. I loved croc
Thanks for the vid!
This guy kinda sounds like joshschorcher
The British voice actor for the European version
You mean the cartridge space limitations right?
I never knew there was play station version 🤯
Gex 3 is the best one on ps1 at least
I rented it a few times. I thought it was garbage even as a kid, but it was kind of a fun awful.
Like Clayfighters?
SAY GEX!!!
Can you do conkers bad fur day?
Why does it say I’m subbed to u
I was so disappointed when i asked my dad to rent me Gex 2 and he brought crappy Gex 1. I enjoyed 2 and 3 as a kid but there are much better games for kids and adults alike. Tomba series and Ape Escape 1 alone are better….Gex had potential though…
U never even played it?!? And y did he have an English accent??
ItS tAiL tImE
Wow I played this before lol
Hello!
more like gex is cool
Ps1 version is much better
