YES! its over priced, however I use mine everyday. I carry it in my Neverfull and grab it when I run out for lunch. No, it doesn't fit my phone but it fits all my cards, compact, lipstick. I wrap the chain over my wrist and away I go. If you love it, buy it now as the price will no doubt keep increasing. Another alternative is the Coach Nolita 15, nice pebbled leather!

It is now $950 Canadian dollars 😮 and I bought mine in 2018 for $360 Canadian. The prices are insane. I am so glad I do have it though I use it as a catch all everyday
I love the mini pochette and use it every day (except if using mini bag) so it was definitely worth the £185 I paid for it a few years ago. I know prices have to go up but the price now is crazy. I think the £250/ £300 mark would still be ish acceptable today but not more than that. It's crazy expensive and not worth it anymore for me personally. I would never use it as anything other than a catch all as unless it fits my phone then its only a catch all so for me its definitely not worth it now. I really love the special edition ones and see there is the Paris Vendome coming but I won't be investing as that I assume will be even more. Fab video as always.
Glad you made this video. I do love my limited edition one (in the Damier Paillettes), but when I bought it, I thought I was nuts because of the price. I wasn't - I use it as an evening bag with a chain strap frequently and I adore it. But I'm shocked that the regular one is so much more expensive now than my limited edition was just a few years back! I am glad I started buying luxury when I did, because I don't think I'd be able to do it the same way now.

What really made it worse for some LV lovers is how difficult it was to locate even before the price increase news broke out. A lot of people were talking in various forums about how they were trying to hunt one down only to finally find it after the near 40% USD jump.
I can't pay the price it is now but I did try to get it before the last price increase and by the time my sales associate got back to me, the price increase had hit! I missed out but I just can't justify that price for myself but as you say if you really want it....get it! It is definitely too much money!!!!

I think LV is tired of all the DIY. So they charging the prices to reflect how people are wearing them not saying it’s right just saying I believe that’s what’s happening. Reason why they made the toiletry with a chain and also with a card insert options. But upped the price significantly for those items. Great video.

I recently bought a Damier Azur one in giftable condition from a resale site. The DA MP is no longer available on the LV website and was priced lower than current retail on other patterns. So I don’t feel I overpaid in that sense. But it is so highly priced and part of the reason I got it is for fear I would still want it and end up buying it when it’s even higher in price. Maybe not the best decision. 🙃

I bought a preloved one and just sent it off for new vachetta. New vachetta is only $45. After I pay for the repair, I have around $500 invested in it. I am satisfied with the price I paid. I do love it though. I love using it as a tiny crossbody. It’s the perfect size for essentials…..cardholder, cash, key fob, lip gloss. I am considering buying a second preloved one as the repair is going to take 6 months they say and I really miss it. I won’t pay $745 but if a decent deal came up on a damier ebene one, I’d get it. I do think the prices will go up again with the next increase as it’s rarely in stock. People are still buying it at that price. It’s hard to find new.
You think the US price is bad; in Canada the regular monogram, Damier Ebene or Azur is…..wait for it…..$950 plus 13% tax, for a whopping total of $1073.50!!! Ok now to watch the rest of your video LOL

I got one preloved and wanted a new one when it was in the 300,- € range, but it was never available at LV. During the last months it was constantly available for 550,- € and maybe by next week it will go up again, maybe up to 750,- €. It was and it is and will be over overpriced. But I never considered any of the alternatives, none is as beautiful and lightweight and carefree as the MP.
I really wanted the mono mini pochette a few years ago but never available so I bought the mon monogram one for £355 which I thought was so much but now that’s £645 !!
I like the ones I have but definitely not worth that price. LV are taking the micky out of us 🤦🏽♀️☺️ I have two Christmas animation ones. An azur & ebene one, and the by the pool one. This year I don’t think I’ll be adding to the limited edition collection because I don’t even use the ones I have except the ebene 😅
I agree, too much money. I have one and would not buy again. I do highly recommend, if you can find it used, the Bucket Pochette. It is slightly bigger than the mini pochette, can use it the same way, and it FITS YOUR PHONE!!!!! Preloved it is either the same or cheaper than the MP. Highly highly recommend!!! Bought two in excellent preloved condition and will never get rid of them, thinking of selling my minis though!
I just found one yesterday listed on Mercari. A lot of times they will list it as a mini pochette too so, as tedious as it is, open every listing you like and check for dimensions.

It’s listed on the LV app under “chain wallets” Does anyone use it as an Actual wallet? I mean why use something so expensive like this just as a catch all pouch? A pouch is a pouch that you could get anywhere for so much less money to throw “stuff” in. 🤷🏼♀️
I absolutely do not think it is worth it. The only SLGs that I think are worth it are to have 1-2 wallets and a key holder. A mini pouch to hold small things there are MANY pouches. For the price, put it towards a bag or shoes or a watch or a belt. That being said, if you love it, get because prices are just going up. For me, I think luxury pouches are gimicky, including vanity cases for cosmetics. They’re gonna get all dirty! Can’t imagine spending that on a cosmetic pouch. But to each their own at the same time! I’d rather pick up a chanel mini o case for $500 instead of the LV mini pouchette if I was going to go that route, which I’m not.
