This has to be an underrated gem. I can't stop listening to this music at all, especially the parts where Thundering Chariot, Jing Yuan's theme music and A Flash comes to play. Safe to say, I have no regrets listening to this music haha. Keep up the good work!

The opening and the transition between melodies are so beautiful, giving listeners a sense of flashbacks of the most beautiful memories buried in Xianzhou's history, yet everything has passed and faded away. Great work!♥

Do you use multiple reverb sends with different depths for early reflections and then glue with a tail reverb, or do you have a different approach? 5 weeks arranging/mixing/mastering so this was definitely a labour of love, but I'd say it paid off!
Hey @jackalos1, appreciate your questions! :D Glad you liked the mix! Specifically for reverbs, I'm almost exclusively using LiquidSonic's Seventh Heaven Reverb at the moment (mainly because I read Mitsunori Aizawa prefers the Bricasti M7 reverb, so I just ran with it). I use the Pro version, but I admit the non-Pro version should be just fine. If you find something else you like, there's nothing wrong with that though. I usually use Large and Near setting (e.g. this medley, my Genshin medley: ua-cam.com/video/n-zzZpQ5DCI/v-deo.html ), or sometimes a Chamber setting if I want something closer sounding (e.g. my Octopath cover: ua-cam.com/video/-8Yi6UmV2Fo/v-deo.html), particularly on my Strings bus. I actually often don't use any reverb on Brass. I usually use reverb as a Send when I'm planning to automate it or if it's on a bus - e.g. this is what I do with my Strings bus. I don't like using reverb as an Insert on my String bus, because I feel like automating the reverb in this setup changes the volume of the Strings too drastically, when really I just want to change how 'reverberant' the sound depending on the context within a track. I do use reverb as an Insert more commonly on individual instruments or when I don't plan to automate it, since it feels streamlined and it's also easier for me to deal with volume changes on individual instruments. Related to the above, sometimes when instruments feel super dry or mono and aren't mixing well, I try putting on Seventh Heaven's Studio A setting, which can really help. On my Genshin medley, I think I ran a subtle Fabfilter Pro-R reverb for 'glue' on my master, but honestly not sure if it did too much, so not sure I'll continue doing it (I didn't in this track). I've definitely heard about using a different reverb for Early Reflections and Late Reflections/Tail, though I haven't gotten around to investigating it in detail to see if I like it. Also, not that this is reverb related, but for mixing I've gotten a lot of use out of Panagement (got on sale for $12 lol), which helps with perceived distance of instruments. Adjusting stereo width with the free Ozone Imager also can help, as can EQing (e.g. random example - consider cutting low frequencies from the Side for your electric bass). I could definitely go on, but that's the gist of what I do for reverbs, and happy to discuss anything else too! Anyway, thanks for continuing to come back to this track! :D
