- One and a half hour collection of Lemmy interviews and other stuff.
Of all true rock n' rollers in the world. Lemmy was, and will always be the most badass motherfucker of them all.
It's rare that you see a person so true to his roots and lifestyle.
His badass, gentleman, loyal, friendly and calm attitude, have inspired a lot of people in the world, and will for long time to come.
On behalf of Lemmy, I'd like to say thank you for watching. - Розваги
I love how Lemmy looks like he's going to kill you, then he cracks a smile and you feel relaxed lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He is MISSED dearly.....If everyone had a little Lemmy in 'm ,the world would be a seriously GREAT place...
Indeed. 👍🤘
Definitely 😊
“Do you feel age approaching?”
“No, I don’t, other people feel it approaching”.
He then went on to give 32 more years of honest and pure dedication to the music. Sticking with the same morals and honest opinions through his entire career. A true hero of music, that set a standard of influence that will never be compared to.
Well said Conor..I love and miss the man!
💯
Decent, articulate, intelligent man. Proves that looks are deceptive. RIP Lemmy.
There's a man who stuck to his principles! ! RESPECT!!!
I got one chance to see Motörhead live when I was seventeen but I broke my leg in a motorbike accident the day before I was due to go..I’m now sixty years old & it still sucks..RIP Lemmy, love you still 😎🤘
Lemmy would've had an amazing podcast. You are sorely missed, sir.
Hard to believe Lem has been gone 5 years already!
I know right
It's really sad, but he inspired a lot of people, including a lot of bands, like metallica
I miss him so much. Idk why but recently (within the last few days) I have been overcome with grief about his death.
No shit suddenly I've turned 56 this year, what happened in my 30s. Unmarried life goes by much faster in my books.
@Matricx700 has Megadeath come out with anything new. Great band, right up there with maiden, and Judas priest.
Lemmy giving advice to that 15 yr old girl says alot about the man..respect
Time stamp?

Heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time...I loved how honest he was with her. Hope she went home.
Lemmy was so genuine! The man was Rock "n" Roll... Very few today's kids will ever get that. It starts with the crooked music industry that turned music in an industry...
Made quick, empty, fast consumed, fast thrown to the garbage bin it belongs... Lemmy is a legend, legends never die!!!
I feel bad for kids that don't know about real rock n roll or metal. I don't always fault them for their music choice. I just fear a day when this sort of genuine personality is no longer appealing or even present in music. Even the more "edgy" artists today can't hold a candle to Lemmy. They don't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath. Lemmy was a different thing altogether, even from his contemporaries. He was pure class with glass of bourbon and a lovable Hellraiser attitude that was never fake.
@@amphibeingmcshpongletron5026 Today they also tell you that he smoked , drank and had prostitutes...somehow that doesnt work with todays kids anymore...I love your opinion but ...he s our hero....maybe not one of the next generation....sadly
@@GrauzoneBay Sad indeed. I wonder if younger folks got to know him through interviews and the music and actually gave him a chance, before resorting to snap judgements with buzzwords, if they'd see him differently. Probably not.
@@amphibeingmcshpongletron5026he will always has his fans, I hope and the cult lives on just lets do everything that the useless T Swift music doesnt take over
You're right; but think of the ones whose spark directly leads them to Motörhead's legacy. In an online world of sickly entertainment, those guys and gals are the ones we must count on, while we're still alive.
I could listen to this man talk for hours and never get bored , rock n roll ain't the same ?
Rest in rock and roll Lemmy. My favourite band of all time. I’ll never forget seeing Motorhead for the first time in Vancouver w Nashville P***y in ‘99/2000. Many “rock stars” are douchebags but Lemmy would talk to anyone. I met him when I was 19 and watched him hang out with random people in the alley behind the Commodore. The most unpretentious “famous” person I’ve ever met.
Lemmy never died, Lemmy lives forever.
I first saw Motorhead live in 83 and my hearings still fucked.
We are Motorhead. And we play Rock and Roll !
Naked in a car on a ferry to Island...
Wunderbar indeed😁👍
Lemmy 4ever.
Iceland 😉
@@Rottendlijk1971
Island in my mothertongue, and Island also in Icelandic. You are welcome.
Edit: I admit, this can be confusing for English native speakers.
Lem starts reading the letter one way but as soon as he reckons it's serious, he comes up with the single good common sense advice ( for that time, I guess), that is, '' go back to family''.
He was actually a very very clever man and his wittiness was fast and sharp
Agreed, clever and completely unabashedly honest.
Lemmy was so funny, smart, witty and totally in control of himself - Lemmy because he's Lemmy and Lemmy is the God of Heavy Metal. "He can't help himself" Total cool calm relaxed and Heavy as F. And a REALLY super cool person. God bless him! I was very lucky to meet him and talk to him several times. A true legend.
If you're afraid of the truth, DO NOT ask Lemmy.
The way he's able to be so truthful though without coming across as hateful or demeaning is so refreshing. He speaks his mind but it doesn't even seem offensive. It's like he does it out of love not spite, even for the people he doesn't have nice things to say about.
That first story of Ritchie Blackmore was a classic, long live Lemmy.
We love you Lemmy! Always!
I take back everything I said bad about motorheads last line up and mickey. I've put on the stage fright dvd for first time in a few years its brilliant and mickeys solo is superb. The whole dvd is awesome.
Love watching old interviews with Lemmy
1990s lemmy is what i remember. passed some guy on the street once, tall dude, muttonchops, warts on the cheek, SCARY lookin dude. later i was introduced to motorhead on KDOC. i think the dude on the street was lemmy.
Lemmy was 5'10 though.
@@ryckjunior9911 5'10" is tall to a kid
i could listen to lemmy talk for hours, he really is a smart dude :):)
I wish that I could have seen him play/sing in person and to be really honest I never got into Motorhead until he passed and I love metal and rock and roll and have loved it my entire life but after his death I kept seeing videos about him while scrolling through UA-cam and started clicking on them and what I've learned is Lemmy was the coolest person to walk this planet hands down and I wish that I would have gotten into motorhead way sooner because I missed out on a badass band with an amazing bassist and vocalist and I've done seen hundreds of bands and God dammit I wish that motorhead was in there, RIP LEMMY
My god I miss you lemmy!!!! The world needs you now more than ever.......a real man in a fake world
Lemmy's hilarious. He didn't answer any of the questions. He just talks about whatever he wants to talk about.
Thanks for the effort man
Anytime
If lem wasn't a rock god he would have been a comedian.
Or a philosopher ahahaha
thanks for this great compilation
RIP Lemmy, by far the hardest working and most genuine person in all of Rock N' Roll
Lemmy was so cool, just personified rock music! He is missed sorely! RIP!
'What does Heavy Metal mean to you? ' is the single most clichéd question ever asked to anyone, ever.
Lemmy had a mother who loved and supported him. Explains a lot about his sanity and confidence
When im bored I come back to old lemmy videos I've all ready seen loads of times....do I care ...do I fk.... I miss lemmy ..and the idea he is out there living it up...motorhead are so missed
Lemmy True to the core !
Ri.I.P Lemmy, an honest real person, and a true gentleman of Rock Music. Namaste Lemmy
Delightful collection! Nice work, and Thank You!
Lemmy lives in us all! I love you Lem x
He was always a natural comedian, a genuinely big-hearted guy and a very honest person - a class act, a natural leader and an icon - he still is sorely missed R.I.P. Lemmy
What a guy ! Love how hes just his self rip lemmy
Lemmy was funny as shit. I always liked his sharp wit and honest no bullshit way of speaking. Saw them at the Hollywood Palladium in I think 84 or 85. My ears are still ringing!
Lemmy without his beard have a totally different face..
Lem is the best man. True rock and roller. Miss you man
Great stuff! Lemmy was not just a cool wild man, he was intelligent and honest, which is damn refreshing.
Maybe edit it to add subtitles to show the date / source of each particular interview.
The only religion I need is The Ace Of Spades.
Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️ words LEMMY IS GOD REST IN POWER LEMMY
Born to Lose

The Man
Seldom Mythical

Lemmy Kilmeister Rock & Roll GOD!
This is like a dungeon full of gems...
I just love this guy.
One of the most sarcastic and deadpan bästards to be interviewed by the media Rest In Peace lem
You inspired me to pick up a bass and learn to play like millions of others
He was a respectful, principled man, who took no shit from anyone, but at the same time would be so engaging with anyone who was an honest fan or took a genuine interest in any of his work. The word Icon doesn't do the man justice. National Treasure? That sounds more fitting.
Interesting that they asked him about aging when he was 38. Maybe they didn't expect him to live to 70.
He was the sort of bloke who did his thing, normal in every sense and alot of fans could literally be inspired to take up a musical instrument or be true to their creative soul.RIP Lemmy, never met you but met a former roadie to whom you left a lasting impression who met you and spoke fondly of you, i drew me to Motorhead.
8yrs and still cant get over it. Forever missed. Forever remembered. RIP Ian Lemmy Kilmister ❤♠️❤🤘❤♠️❤♠️
I miss lemmy. The industry needs him still
Best video on youtube...hands down! R.I.P Motorhead.
Great compilation!Much obliged!

Good bloke that Lemmy.

LOL HES HILARIOUS
Lemmy! What a legend!!!!!
LEMMY...fuckin' godhead.
Thanks for sharing. Great!🇬🇧
Mick Dee do not put down your work, Bastards is great
I never knew my dad so I like to pretend he was Lemmy!
It's a distinct possibility.....😂
HERR'S TO YOU LEMMMY DA BADEST ROCKER WHO EVER ROCKED DA STAGE
THANK YOU FOR THIS.
He was a man of exceptional good humour and patience to put up with all these humourless, idiot European mtv interviewer kids!the man's a legend-wether he's some bricklayer down the pub you know or the singer in a world famous rock n roll band- real recognise real!! WART speed 11 captain! !!
Lemmy talking about Jimi Hendrix while Black Sabbath plays in the backround
Have a fucking weekend and dont forget to rock and roll
Oh fuck yea. Miss this guy
A gentleman and a scholar. Thanks.
Just one of the realist, fkn love Lemmy! He was good people!
The Czech interview is maybe the best example of how incredibly solid a guy Lemmy was.
The host is clearly nervous, asking terrible questions, and doesn’t seem to know where to point the mic…and Lemmy is as laid back and friendly as ever. It would have been so easy to give a condescending answer, make a face, or straight up insult the interviewer, and may artists in a similar situation have done one or all of those. Lemmy doesn’t come close.
Awesome TY FRIEND
He is the one and onlys mr rock
Ive only been listing for eight years but I will buy Evers single album
This guy is an excellent interviewer. Lenny wanted to talk to him.
Lemmy!! Fucking spell correct....
Lemmy kilmister is a king
Absolute gent
if only this guy lived long enough to be on the JRE
I have really hard time to see Lemmy in that show. Lemmy is way above that bs. That show is cancer for kids.
@@Frank72364 I like the JRE depending on the guest, call me whatever you'd like but it's not just for kids. If you have any recommendations for podcasts I'd love to hear em. There aren't too many good ones. I just don't think it would've worked as well with Lemmy on. It worked with James Hetfield because Rogan was a big fan. It'd only really work with a real Motörhead fan. I would have loved to see him do a long form podcast though and talk for a few hours. Even if it was just a recorded conversation with one of his friends or band mates for a few hours. That said, I wonder if Lemmy ever tried DMT...either way, I'm sure he'd say he preferred Jack Daniels and speed.
He would go through a full bottle of Jack and smoke so many cigarettes Joe would get sick haha
@@markl5998 If Joe tried to drink with him, it'd probably end in embarrassment for sure lol. Lemmy would get him so drunk that he'd have to carry the whole podcast while Joe went in and out of consciousness.
(My) Top 5 Rockers:
1. Lemmy
1. Phil Lynott
2. Alice Cooper (still with us)
3. Bob Welch
4. Gary Moore
5. Peter Steele
I THINK those guys are my favorites.
Pretty good list!!!
If this guy isn't one of the horsemen of the apocalypse, it's all a lie.
and The Ace of Spades album cover proofs it♠
Saw Motorhead in 02 I remember half of it 🤘🤘 the rest of it I was very baked.
Lemmy should be deified as the God of metal. We should worship him.
He doesn't want worshiped and if you listen to him he plainly clearly states that without even saying it
@@tristaningram945 How did he "state" it without saying saying it? How would the listener hear him state it, if he doesn't say it?
interviewer: wikipedia is like the world dictionary. yea seems right. couldnt have anything to do with a world encyclopedia.
lol
Twisted Sister bottle of water, that doesn`t apply too much to Lemmy. ;-)
He's *just* a leader, a great leader, and a kind leader.
Im here from Metallica Kill'em all, and same at that time Motorhead, Slayer and Sepultura. Probably a classic siuation to many, but i also like some rap, crossover, classic, raggae, punk, and black metal, in short.
I guess i like stuff that sound true.
1:27:30 I feel like the interviewer was caught off guard and not expecting Lemmy to be that Articulate.
First off, I love Motorhead and Lemmy, they are my favorite band. I have no reservations about saying this. I have to set the records straight for anyone who doesn't know, Lemmy himself said, If I could I would sell out if it meant he had millions. I've heard that he wouldn't from other fans. Lemmy wasn't beyond doing anything back in the day. He has gotten older and more resigned to how life is. Young Lemmy was all sex, drugs and rock 'n roll. 😉
Lemmy came out the womb smoking Marlboro reds. Lol. And didnt stop till he passed.
Does anyone know where the interview where Lemmy was talking about reading, the royal family and the hunchback went?
I regret not meeting him. I feel very akin to the man. Very matter of fact and to the point. I was afraid of him when I was much younger. The older I get the more I feel I will enjoy hanging out and just quietly talking about the old days. Rollins too Ozzy, Hendrix, many old musicians.
You shoud add Hennry Rollins, they were fryends!
I miss him terribly but I can’t stop focusing on the growth on his face
That says a lot about you.
RIP LEMMY N FUCKIN SLAYER
We ARE the ROAD CREW
Soon ve shall take over ze verld *Smirks*
Motorhead was never a heavy metal band. If anything, Lemmy is the Godfather of ROCK 'n ROLL!....PERIOD!🤘🏻
The Dirtiest Band in Rock & Roll, indeed. (RIP brother) DEC 2020 FL USA
Interviewer: "...You've been compared to Peer Guntin, what do you think of that?"
Lemmy: "...They're alright, unfortunate name though, know what I mean?"
Interviewer: "Hard to pronounce?"
Lemmy: "No, no, it's not hard to pronounce, no that's not the reason, no (laughs)"
