Danzo destroyed the eye not out of pettiness or spite but because he did not want that immense power to fall into enemy hands who would use it against his village. This is probably the ONLY noble thing Danzo has ever done
He could've just used that eye to save himself with izanagi.
If he used it before he blew up and respawned he might have survived.
And even if he didn't survive, the izanagi would've still made the eye useless

Danzo was a shady bastard no doubt, but he cared about konoha. Over his tenure he did loads of things behind the scenes partially because of his ambitions, but ultimately it all ended up being better for konoha
I too have to appreciate the sheer pettiness of Danzo in this moment. If anything, the last thing he did was prevent Shisui’s eye from falling into the Akatsuki’s hands, which would have vastly-complicated the War Arc, all they have to do is tempt Sasuke over towards the end at the right moment and they win. That’s how close the bad guys were to winning the war. I mean they basically needed someone as special as Itachi turned to their side by Shisui’s other eye just to win it. Shisui’s eyes literally decided the outcome of the war. This is a topic that needs to be discussed.
So Danzo basically saved the world 🌎

Also it's a sharingan so Obito can handle it, He can barely handle a rennigan as he said it himself. In other words he will have more chakra and it would be better for him as he has white zetsu hashirama cells meaning he can spam it rather than wait 10 years like Shihui

Obito couldn't handle the rinnegan because it almost drowe him crazy because of his mental state. He was spamming kamuis and rinnegan abilitys the whole war so Obito has more then enough chakra.

Kabuto said he could properly reanimate Shisui from the remains of his eye but Obito refused to give it to him I think because he feared Kabuto would use Shisui Kotoamatsukami to take control over him
I put money shisui gets reintroduced in boruto as one of amado or oruchimaru clones been saying it was odd jiriya and shisui Dident get revived during the war and would later somehow come back in the plot . Even though it’s a clone we got kashin koji I’m telling u shisui nxt . If itachi and shisui were to get clones same iq take out the morale attachment thier not siding with leaf and letting something like boruto live itachi and shisui has always been pacifist take extreme measures to avoid war or conflict .

Itachis permanently blind in his tsukyomi eye now , his vision was blurred extremely at his death , and no relevant boruto villain is dumber or less experienced than itachi. Shisui may not even be reviveable since genjutsu is useless against otsutsuki snd they’ve already got a new character that can essentially do what shisui does

Most recently mituski perfect sage enhanced oruchimaru, synthetic life in shin close oruchimaru mass produce mangakyu sharigan , and kashin koji who had perfect sage mode something jiriya couldn’t even pull off . I think boruto heading down the Star Wars lane of clone there going to be more normalize for nations to have contingency plans for boruto , kawaki , code any super op charcter the day of untiring shinobi waiting for occasional generational talent over hence why kawaki even in latest chapter and first ep said age of shinobi over . Little reminder that obito could've easily abused the izanagi to get pretty much hundreds of extra lives by just taking out the consumed sharingan and replacing it with a new sharingan from his collection. We know he can swap eyes even after using izanagi because he replaced one of these blind eyes with nagato's rinnegan. And he can teleport with his kamui! He could go back and forth from his little hideout in minutes and boom: new eye, another extra life, battle injuries he overrides with izanagi are as good as new. And he has a literal wall of eyes to swap with.
Maybe it's just me, but I think he could get a lot more out of this than a rinnegan he only used to control the jinchuriki.

Guess he was doing the gamer hoarding thing with items, never using them in case a harder fight were to happen where they would be really needed.
He should have kept a few sharingan in his pocket, instead of having to go back and forth he would have them on hand and that could have been used as the explanation for him surviving using rinne rebirth which killed nagato and getting the 10 tails ripped out of him when any bijuu getting ripped out of a jinchuriki kills them, except special uzumaki like kushina, even naruto was going to die to just half the 9 tails being ripped out and also explains him getting raikiri'd in the heart
@@originalcharacter7598 he survived because black zetsu was attached to him though and Hashirama cells survived him from instantly croaking from the chidori. Just like how minato slashing open his chest didn’t somehow instakill obito. We’ve seen Hashirama cells heal mortal direct wounds before ( sasuke, kabuto) and they work instantly , ( seen healing obito instantly after being sliced with kakashis kunai) black zetsu states even after he detached from obito he was gonna die soon from rinne rebirth anyways and when he detached obito was Unconscious until naruto attempted to heal him with so6p seal probably the only unexplained reason obito was alive and moving in the kaguya fight .
@@meetthemoo225 yea ik that there are explanations for all the times he would have died but the majority of people think of them as asspulls and izanagi was pretty much used twice in the main story so it might make the story seem less asspully if 1 of the times he used izanagi
In the anime I think obito put the eye in his other socket but had to waste it on an izanagi due to konan's 1 million explosive tags

I really need to see the Sharingan vault come back in Boruto, so much story potential. Who do you think has control of it now that Obito is dead? I’d love to see Karin guarding it. I think it's more he doesn't trust anybody else to use it and service of the leaf. He's dirty underhanded, and unlikable, but literally every decision he made he made legitimately believing it was for the betterment and safety of his home, and he couldn't trust anybody else with that level of power, especially for one of his villages greatest secret weapons

Ok, so the thing I’ve always been more confused about… why do Sasuke’s Sharingan not look like Itachi’s after he transplanted them into his own body. I get that they become Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan at that point, but they still look mostly like Sasuke’s originals with just a bit more black triangular design in the centers.
I must be wrong but I thought the anime mentioned that his suicide seal thing destroyed the eye as well.

Well I mean outside of Infinite Tsukyomi, Kotoamastukami is the single most powerful Genjutsu. To have someone under a Genjutsu and they’ll never catch on to the fact they are under a Genjutsu is nuts.

Here's a question I've always wondered: why the fuck was Obito so interested in sasuke? I remember the whole thing being such a build up that went nowhere. Was he just manipulating him in order to use him to gather tailed beasts? Was he using him to get his eyes as backup or something? Cause he was already going to get the rinnegan back. Does anyone know what obitos true purpose for Sasuke was because it just seems like slot of effort considering he went the other way with his plan and didn't even really use Sasuke in the war. He just gave him Itachi's eyes and then went off to war without him.

Why didn't he just use it to preform Izanagi? Wouldn't that have also rendered the eye unusable? Or maybe he thought there was a way to restore a sharingan after izanagi?
My comment was about the crow itachi used in to break edo tensi...would it have been better to use koto on nagato so he could use the rinnegan to take kabuto over and use the undead army to help naruto fight obito and madara...also that would have helped keep the gedo statue in nagatos hands not obitos or madaras just some food for thought ik the rinnegan basicly beats all sharingan but koto was a perfect genjutsu...?? Ems comes from getting the eyes of your blood relatives weather it be your brother mom or dad for all we know obito probably did have ems from his own grandmother since she was the only one who took care of him which is my thoery anyways that during the uchiha massacre obito killed and took one of his grandmother's eyes and gained the EMS but due to the fact that his he only awakened the MS in his one eye and not both pare ue didn't get the aesthetic of the ems but rather the ability hence why he spams his abilities without any sign of strain but he only gets half anyways since he didn't unlock the susanoo

From my understanding it works like that only between Uchihas. Because Madara took Obito's eye out of Karachi's face and just put it in with his bare hands. But Rin had to use medical ninjutsu to put Obito's eye in Karachi's face.
