This Guy Is INSANE... Chester P - Urban Jackanory | FIRST TIME LISTENING!

Hey guys, today I checked out a highly requested artist from my Task Force reaction... it's Chester P with his song Urban Jackanory.
This may have been one of the strangest rap songs I've heard, but I loved it!
The title fit so well, his story telling was next level really took you on a journey.
Would love to hear more like this so let me know what I should check out next!

Hello mate thought I might be able to shed some light on this track.
His first verse is deliberately flamboyant and unbeliveable, it's supposed to imitate certain people you meet that just spin you tall tales before you even know each other, all mouth and no trousers as we like to say. He's impersonating them and taking the piss, which leads into "please mr storyteller tell us all a story..."
Even the begginning has samples saying "please tell us a story"

If you ain't from London it's worth having a tube map at the ready so you can follow along to the 1st verse. I always interpreted the track that the 1st verse is Chester sort of making fun of other rappers always rapping about street stuff around London, but he twists it in his own clever way by tying the ludicrous, 'boring' story all around different tube stations. He then tells a 'proper' story in the 2nd verse about some crazy sci-fi stuff, because others rappers and their bars just bore him

Can't beat a bit of old-school throwback rap, pretty much grew up on music like this!
But I missed so many great artists like Chester, Rhyme Asylum etc. So it's been really great to go back and explore these incredible artists.

The guy s a deep talented prophet and as you'll see most will blow your mind on the first listen and hopefully as you relisten to them in your own time you'll , you'll find yourself repeatedly drawn to them as some of the bars or so exquisite your brain can't comprehend then ❤

Chesters has some nerdy bars if your here 4 it. Deep bars on cosmology , mythology and esoteric symbolism and numerolgy. Looking forward to more on your journey. I can't get enough myself this is my 3rd rewatch of your vid alone. Not alot of reactors out there tappin into raw talent and pure gold mine of some of the uks pioneers. Your channel will bring the old heads ;)
