So at the end, the dogscape cannot reach vancouver since its freezing there and the protagonist is describing snow and how he is dying to frost bite at the end. Thus he reaches a station where he dies .
When described it sounds more like a bunker to me. And yes he died but he could have entered the building if he knew how to read and operate the buttons.

its the iss space station, after the dog scape took the planet it continued to expands into space, which is why it got colder and colder , eventually it went so high up into space it hit the international space station, the white skins the narrator describes are space suits@@tetrafuse3096
This series of Creepypasta stands as the most memorable Story I've heard. It's been 6 and I still remember these so vividly. I think it's how well the world is described. It'd definitely be nightmare fuel if ever animated.

WOW this series is pretty old and I had completely forgotten to ever look it up again. It's so simple in premise yet so detailed in practice. Despite hearing it years ago, I still remember it in fair detail. Glad I reheard it on this channel, as you do a great job at building ambience and environment around the stories you read. Very epic.

This is One of my favorite stories, period.
The absolutely alien, yet terrifyingly familar setting, combined with the devolution of man's psyche is pure genius.
The background music voice changes feeling and inflections of emotion , great timing and great sound effects make Dark Somnium the absolute best in story telling these stories. When he adds in all the sound qualities it puts the stories over the top!!! Super job Som!

Absolutely disgusting. Shameful! The single most horrific thing I have ever heard! I am literally shaking! How on earth could not a *single* person pet the Dog Mother?! Not one! No, "Good girl," or, "Who's the best all-consuming Eldritch horror?" She's literally the ground you're standing on!
Not petting the Dog Mother is animal abuse on a global scale. These people deserved the slow death of humanity. Being absorbed by Dog Mother was too good for them.

The Dark Somnium you should! It’s not your typical creepypasta. In fact, it produce it’s OWN animation. And it’s not fan made! It’s made by the creator itself!

This one struck me. I love everything The Dark Somnium reads but this is definitely now one of my favorites. I'll be thinking about it for years to come. All I can say is... that's fucked
This story didn't make any sense, and yet it was still amazing. Love when you narrate the reallt dark stuff man!
Man, I wish more creepypastas were like this. So many are just generic long leggedy beasties, but this displays an amazing amount of imagination and uses a simple and seemingly silly premise to create a genuinely upsetting but fascinating scene. In a weird way it reminds me of the guide to hell story, where one of the only natural resources and dangers to humans in hell was the other humans in hell. Except, in this case, dog. My one criticism is some of the writing. I don't care about swearing in general but it's really immersion breaking when in the middle of this alien body horror nightmare the narrator suddenly starts up with 'I FUCKED HER AND PISSED MYSELF OW MY AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSS!'
Rule - 003: Should you wake up and find every cubic inch filled to the brim with dogs you are likely experiencing a Space-Time distortion, wait it out it's probably just temporary.

I'm usually a man of many words, I'm the one to be overely descriptive, articulate and such but with god as my witness the only words I can squeeze out of myself to describe this story is "cuh what the fuck bro"
I don't even know what to say. Well narrated, as always ... but I think my psyche is broken. I WAS a dog person--at least more than a I was a cat person. But ... ugh, I literally never want to see or think of ANY kind of mammal again.

Haha, I remember when I first watched Mr.Creepypasta’s narration of this story years ago, younger me was so scared by this story.
It’s kinda funny thinking back on it now, I was so afraid of something like this actually happening, childish imagination is quite horrifying in the correct context.
Completely expected. I grew up with shitpastas like jeff the killer and thought he was real - this is different, viscerally horrifying and disgusting. Genuinely sorry you had hear some of the concepts in this story so young...
When I heard about this story, I thought it would be some kind of bizarre, planet of the apes-esque story about evil dog-humans.

Dogscape is great. It didn't have a single author, it was a collaborative effort by many people. Each log I believe was done by a different person.

This was an amazing interpretation of outcomes of failed experiments. I know there's a content warning but I will say this. I can not respect the protagonist. I know if shit went down like this, humanity would be at its worst and probably forget about morals, but damn. Not gonna lie it fucked w me when he came across that women in the story lmfao. shit got dark in 2 seconds tops XD

If the thing managed to be in this world it would easily take over the entirety of the dogscape essentially making it the thing scape which would be way more horrifying
There’d be no slow death of humanity. The Thing would most likely just immediately assimilate every living thing on its surface instead of gradually picking off the women and leaving the rest to wander the wasteland. And even if it didn’t, basically everything you’d have to eat would be made of the Thing’s tissues, which means eating them would mean assimilation. Maybe you could get around that by cooking your food, since we know the Thing is weak to fire, the ticks would pretty much immediately become tick-Things after drinking its blood. Plus, while it’s honestly hard to judge, I get the impression that the Thing is smarter than the Dog Mother.
But then again, is getting assimilated by the Thing _really_ worse than whatever fate awaits you in the Dogscape?
Or maybe the Dogscape would just assimilate the Thing before the Thing could assimilate the Dogscape.
I have listened to a lot of horror recently as I'm traveling more for work. This is definitely up there in originality.

Still not as horrible as Tommy Taffy though, this is so surreal I can do or e myself from the sick feeling it would otherwise generate. Like a dissociated dream. Tommy Taffy was just so damn REAL I couldn’t actually enjoy it though I had to listen to the end. I don’t think it was meant to be enjoyed. This one though I actually *like* it. Reminds me of that Burger one, damn if I can’t remember the title.
This really does take horror and disgust so far that they both cycle through to beauty; a punishing level of commitment to the bit that can only be admired. 🐶
