A lot of times in life you don’t meet your soulmate until later in life. Mordecai had to go through two failed relationships to find out Stef was the girl for him. In contrast Rigby and Eileen met young and maintained a healthy relationship. Along with Eileen helped Rigby mature and he started putting her first.

You get into some crazy shit, wake up drunk in weird places, get in fights with people x2 your size, and everything seems like a big adventurous chore. But then you get out and keep living life as a grown adult and those adventures that forged you become a memory of long ago
I like that Regular Show recognize that both of Mordecai's main relationships had run their course and that he shouldn't end up with either of them a lot of other shows could learn from that (*cough* How I Met Your Mother *cough*). You don't have to be with somebody for the rest of your life or your relationship to be impactful and I think Mordecai's ending reflects that.

I’m turning 21 this year and I realized that that decision to make Mordecai be in a different relationship other than CJ and Margaret was the best decision they could’ve made. This show was the first reality wall I hit when things started changing throughout the show and when stuff started happening in my life, I learned acceptance and awful advice with this show growing up. This was such a big show for me in my life, and I enjoyed every bit of it. It's such a good takeaway that everything seems big in the moment, but as soon as it passes there's still so much time left for things to possibly be similar once again. You will grow with accepting it won't ever be and you love the new reality you've obtained with those changes and what has gotten better from them or what obstacles have been removed from your path even if things haven't gotten better just yet. Some things are worth a wait, and if you just give yourself time, one more day, one more hour on this earth, you will see a difference in life if you're really here to try and see what's next for you.

Regular Show introduced me to some really great music. Hey Man Nice Shot by Filter being one of the great songs I'll always remember. Really great for just a Regular Show.
My only complaint is that they literally just skip from Pops winning to them getting home. How the f*ck did they all survive?

That’s BS and you know it. They literally had The Power, they could have used that to quickly revive everyone, but no, the writers actively chose to break it before that could happen.

@@Laxhoop The power couldnt do nothing, they had to let Pops sacrifice himself in order to break out of the loop. Also I think The Power was destroyed during the fight in the space after they returned.
I love the scene where they talk about how if it wasn't for Pops, they wouldn't have been able to grow up and move on with their lives.
I needed this after years of being sad the way the cartoon ended this out that feeling at ease thank you

This show was the first reality wall I hit when things started changing throughout the show and when stuff started happening in my life, I learned acceptance and awful advice with this show growing up. This was such a big show for me in my life, and I enjoyed every bit of it. It's such a good takeaway that everything seems big in the moment, but as soon as it passes there's still so much time left for things to possibly be similar once again. You will grow with accepting it won't ever be and you love the new reality you've obtained with those changes and what has gotten better from them or what obstacles have been removed from your path even if things haven't gotten better just yet. Some things are worth a wait, and if you just give yourself time, one more day, one more hour on this earth, you will see a difference in life if you're really here to try and see what's next for you.
Regular show was on a whole new level of that Good Shit unlike some of the shit we get now

I was crying at the end of Regular Show. I had put off watching the end for so long because I didn’t want to see my favorite show finally come to an end. But now that it’s finally over for me… I’m just sad lol.

When Regular Show ended back in January 2017, and I was spoiled about what happened in the entire show's whole ending, it felt like Toy Story 3 all over again! 😭
Show finales that always hit me the hardest are when the main characters are all grown up with families of their own. Now I know how parents feel watching there kid grow before their eyes😂
Watching this as a kid in highschool and into adulthood, it was like the characters actually grew up with me lol
I first watched it in May 2011 on Teletoon and my earliest memory has to be of Muscle Man weightlifting.

Thank you for this. You stated it very well. I watched maybe the first 2 or 3 seasons, and later I happened to see the ending. Coming from that place, I can honestly say that I can't wait to go to the beginning, and experience the whole thing as one cohesive story.
I just finished watching the entire series all the way through for the first time. I didn't know anything past session 4. The ending legitimately made me cry, which very few media have accomplished. Truly a masterpiece.
Just like irl where people move on for better things or start something new like graduation and occasionally get back together for a reunion or whatever.
