I too remember the news coverage of that horrific night as first responders and neighbours desperately clawed their way through charred, burning rubble desperately trying to find survivors. A very sad page in history that cannot be forgotten. Thank-you for stopping and giving us all a chance to pay our respects. It was a lovely tribute, very respectful.

This was a beautiful and respectful vlog in Locharbie, Mark and Lisa and I the people of the town would appreciate it. I was about 20 when it happened and staying with mates on a fishing trip at Lochmaben when the plane came down. I can vividly remember the atmosphere change at our camp site when the news came through. There were people there with family in Locharbie and I remember the roads being filled with police. It was a horrible thing. Thank you for paying tribute. Much respect- Kenny

I was 14 , when this happened in Lockerbie, my dad’s friend was in CID at the time, he was helping with the case , he was never the same after it bless him 🏴💔

Yes, the air disaster affected our family also, We use to live just down the road off of the motorway on the way to Carlisle. I was actually in the air flying back to the UK from the States when a passenger told us. To this day I dont know how he knew. Heathrow was high security when we arrived. I arrived at the door at my mums as a surprise and she burst into tears . She had been up all night watching the news and panicking about me in the states . not knowing that i was mid air, Hogmanay that year was very sombre

We too have been to Sherwood Cresent, not in any sort of a goulish way but felt given it was such a tumultuous event in our history we just had to visit. It did feel a bit like we were intruding but no body made us feel unwelcome. Same as when we went to visit the formal memorial in town.

The name of the closed pub The Drovers Arms probably gives a clue as to why the sheep statues are there.
Great tribute to town that suffered so much ,I was lorry driving up to Glasgow as a young lad and seen the devastion 1st hand 😪.
Also you can get a full body suit for doggies we use on spaniels keeps em warm n dry n clean ps we had the pleasure of seeing sticky Vicky in 90.s oh the strings of sausages 😮sorry Mark..❤❤ 🎉

I usually stop in Lockerbie services on the way up to the highlands. I got a prescription in scotland and the lady nearly passed out when i said i had to pay lol, i do it yearly much cheaper.. Where ya off too!!! 😳❤ xxxx
Lovely tribute Lisa and Mark. The Scottish health service is devolved and The Scottish Government abolished prescription charges on 1 April 2011. The deep fried mars bar was a bit of a craze a few years ago and some chip shops advertised them. I have never seen them advertised in any of the ones I have been to. The coat you got for Chico is gorgeous xx

Hi guys loving the videos we are from Scotland,,(Glasgow) go into a chip shop and ask for deep fryed mars bar and they will look at uou if your daft trust me on this ,,, nobody does these, it only came about after a chip shop in fife did 1 and now people all think we deep fry mars bars

Me again lol....little tip for little man's booties(after lots n lots of doggie rescues)if you can't find booties chico size try cutting the fingers off small kids gloves(and because there's a pair (eight fingers)you have a whole spare set)I've done this so many times that I know it works...I usually just quickly thread a bit of elastic thru the top to keep em on and then fold over for extra surety-it's also loads cheaper too....ta ta

You guys should try Tony’s chip shop in shawhead just outside Glasgow has won best fish in chips in Scotland award 2 years running yea up here in Scotland all prescriptions is free I have a Chinese friend who owns a take away and he said the reason for the rising costs of meals is the gas prices along with supply costs I saw his gas’ bill was like about £1500 lol home bargains in Scotland usually have the rolls up guys like
