For oil control, and I have VERY oily skin, I find using Paulas Choice Benzoyl Peroxide lotion before makeup (2.5-3.5%) helps A LOT. Her BP lotions are very elegant and layer invisibly under sunscreen. That plus the Loreal Pro Matte primer, a matte foundation, and everything finished off with a mattifying powder (I like Too Faced Peach Perfect), works AMAZING. My makeup looks fresh at the end of the day. I wonder which of these things does the heavy lifting. I imagine the BP and the Primer do more work than the powder, but I havent tested that out.

Do you use upward or downward strokes, when using the blade?

I’m a brunette and I of course have facial hair like everyone and I always wondered if this blade make the hairs grow back thicker so thanks for the answer that is no ! But I’m wondering now if I use it, will I need to go further and further on my face and then my neck and so on because we have these little hairs everywhere on our body ..
It’s so nice! I wouldn’t worry about getting all of the hair, it’s totally normal to have the little hairs in most areas! I just like to get the upper lip and chin if needed since that’s what foundation tends to cover. The side burns area is the only place I’d maybe stay clear of if the hair there is darker. It won’t grow back thicker but I can look more noticeable as it grows in (if it’s dark to begin with) since those hairs tend to be thicker. 💗

For my upper lip I just use a bleach to lighten them ..
But I mostly see those hairs when the sun is hitting my face and I look in a mirror, those which « bother » me is the ones on my cheekbone area but I feel that if I only remove these I will see a difference between the areas that were shaved and the ones that didn’t .. what do you think ?
I totally know what you’re talking about with the sun 😂 i would probably just leave it. If it’s dark getting it lasered is an awesome option just to get ride of everything. I did it in my legs and it was the best investment ever!
I’ll leave it then, it doesn’t bother me as much 😋
