Superstition (Stevie Wonder) riff for guitar

- Happy Halloween, all! Here’s a seasonally appropriate jam for ya - Stevie Wonder’s Superstition. In this one, we’re going to get into imitating licks on other non-guitar instruments. I kept the signal clean to keep it simple, but if you want to dive into the world of pedals, you can take this imitation game a lot further.
If you want to jam this along with the original Stevie track, just tune all your strings down a half step to Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb. Hope it inspires you guys to transcribe your favorite clavinet/saxophone/bassoon licks! :)

B.B. King wanted to reproduce the sounds of the horns he heard in old school blues music, so he taught himself guitar. That's what drove his style and you can hear it in many of his licks and grooves.

The Clavinet has a Guitar sound & alot of Guitarists use the Bridge Pickup to get that Original Sound in Superstition, plus they often tune down a half step to match the Original key.
Sounds fine on a banjo too.

Have you by chance picked up the guitar as an hobby, or in other words self taught? Or if you did pay for lessons, was it a mom and pop shop or did you take your lessons though a national chain chain of music stores? (Music and Arts for example)

Hi Toni, I've enjoyed listening to you for quite awhile. I have been playing the same way for years and have developed a lot of bad habits that I'm trying to change, so I was really excited to find your channel. I am trying to improve basic picking technique on lead, so paying close attention to that. When you say digging in do you mean pushing harder on the the string with the pick for a longer time to make it move more or do you just mean to strike with more force for the same amount of time?

It is indeed! Stayed in standard for the lesson so anyone could just pick up their guitar and learn it, but there is a note of that in the video description.

i vote for Friend of the Devil, combine the two guitar riffs, walking down bass combined with the lilting treble melody all on one guitar, so it only takes one to accompany the song. adapt some of the mandolin licks for the instrumental. please? :)
