- Why many people play funny chords on Superstition by Stevie Wonder? Let's clear things up in this short guitar lesson / tutorial on how to play the classic the right way! The B section especially.

We've all been there, you get in an impromptu jam session and somebody suggests playing Stevie Wonder's Superstition. Great! You grab your guitar and play, you all go fine on the vamp but as soon as the B section comes the notes get weird, and it doesn't sound right.. Does it ring a bell?
Let's ,ake the next jam session a little more organized, shall we?

Thanks for leaving your thoughts down in the comments!
Luv that you pinned down the exact chords and changes in Superstition. Your performance was terrific!
Thanks man!
Grazie ancora Alberto! Always using the right notes... I won't stick to just 7ths anymore and will add that b5! Sei un vero maestro!
Tell everybody else (about the b5) 😂
Actual explanation analysis doesn't start until 3:40 into the video.
Sempre una gran classe Alberto!! Comunque questa Squire è bellissima!!
Stefanone, si la dice lunga sugli strumenti economici 💛
Ciao Alberto! Great job! As a "Monkey see, monkey do" musician, I can follow the chords, but the theory is all "Greek" to me (Ha-Ha-Ha!)! Kind regards!
Greek is a great language, though! Cheers M
That Bflat7 starts out “I only have eyes for you” yes? Hey, AL loved the video as usual. It has been a rough week had to stop working to take care of my Mom. I will send what I spoke previously about on this Sunday. The first a Nat King Cole/Sam Cooke bouncing Smooth Jazz feel. The Second a Scorching Summer feel good Pop song. Thanks always P.S. A great glass of Montepulciano or Amarone sounds good 👌
Sorry to hear that Mark! Montepulciano sounds great
If you are giving a theoretical breakdown of the chords and rhythm section in this song, why would you play such loud shredding lead over these chord changes? You can't hear the changes but only your shredding lead.
Obvs technically strong guitarist. Horrible lead tone, hurt my soul. Also didn't show us the chords fingering properly. Good music theory explanation.
Way to Go, Alberto! You’re a classy, tasty player (except for that ONE wrong note)!😝
Just one?!?!?! 😂 cheers 💛
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
What do you record your videos with video and …?
fantastic video! what exact guitar is that? hello from nyc!!
Thanks, it’s a squier classic vibe 🎸
Ciao, le tue mani sembrano di seta, complimenti!
Grazie Francesco 💛
Grande!!! Posso sapere che modello è la Tele?
Grazie 🙏 una squire economica, non ricordo il modello ma suona bene
how are you playing like that lol
so sick
😂
No tab for chords§? Never mind just shred
