Govt controlled Municipalities should be disbanded DLF or any builder for that matter is so big in india because of inefficient Municipalities that promote urban apathy Municipalities are the basic ground governance system that caters to 80% of urban needs , be it Water , waste management, traffic , electricity , roads , parking , encroachments In developed countries basic civic governance to grassroots is done by local bodies which are well defined institutional systems In india 🇮🇳 it’s exact opposite Example - A gated group housing society in Gurgaon which is isolated & spared from any govt civic interference commands higher premium than any govt municipality area as they manage their own garbage , water , & other basic civic issues
