Firstborn always hit hard, but especially now after recently having a baby. The “Yet my resolve, does it shake beneath the 4ft casket shadow” lyric specifically.
Been loving revisiting these with you and all the other viewers here, David. I feel truly blessed and privileged to absorb this music. I don't revisit this one often, just about all of the tracks dig up a heavy amount of life's trauma and grief that expands itself out of compartmentalization and into a furious and profound disdain for life and the unfairness of the world--only really accurately captured by Garrett's emotionally driven words and delivery. This album is an ode to the end, the loss of all things and it will always shake my soul right down to the foundation.
In Absence is still my fav Silent Planet song❤
Funny cause it's my least favorite and only song I don't really like
It’s also my favourite ❤️
Visible unseen is one of my faves. ' These lonely roads will always lead you home' hits me every fucking time
It's so good!
Firstborn will never not make me tear up. Just an absolutely heartbreaking song, it makes me feel a fraction of the impact of losing a child too soon.
One of the first songs to make me bawl from Silent Planet. Garretts writing never ceases to paint imagery with every word.

Visible unseen. One of the best songs ever! Jesus!

My favourite band 4sure. This is perfection. Speechless
Every album they release is amazing! Best metalcore band. Enjoy Superbloom!
Iridescent is better musically but not lyrically, IMO. I need to spend more time with Superbloom to properly assess it on that level.
Yeah iridescent is my favorite but this one is close because of its atmosphere
