This was great, thanks again WDR Big Band. Last night I had the privilege of learning about Gene Krupa, 1901-1973, drummer. I watched all I could find about him, his history. Unbeliverable drummer, and all those he had the opportunity to play with. So many great jazz muscians. Gene wasn't selfish, he shared his love for jazz with all his muscians. I could not stop watching him for hours. He inspired others to play and especially move in their bodies and dance. That one time he went over to his bass player and he used his drums sticks to play on the bass, I thought I would pass out. Wow. Thank all of you again. RESPECTFULLY ❤️

Such a nice composition and performance! Marshall Gilkes is a star- composer, soloist! “Puddle Jumping” is a wonderful souvenir from 2018. There are so many others, all beautiful, like WDR Big Band! Undisputed!

Andy and Marshall both studied at the Interlochen Arts Academy in high school with Dr. Jeannie Little. They were both amazing back then, too. Not quite at this level, but wow, what truly amazing musicians they have always been. And really nice guys as well.
