I was introduced to the WDR Bigband on the ACT CD Sampler many years ago. Then Joe Lovano was included. I was impressed with the musical performance, as now, and the microphones used on the brass section. My compliments to WDR and musicians

Yes, that is his all the way up to 2:30 and I’m always a little disappointed when credit is not given. Written for classical guitar and orchestra by Rodrigo back in 1939. Chick was born in 1941. Also used on Sketches of Spain from Miles Davis and Gil Evans in 1960 without the knowledge or permission of the original composer. Señor Rodrigo died in 1999 at the age of 97. This melody was his most well known work.
