Honestly I'd prefer you guys saved money on those 3D models sometimes and do some more aesthetic themes for the anime. It works well in Kengen Ashura for the fights, but they seem stiff here.
I'm not even asking for clean animations. Check out a Chinese anime called "The Fog Hill of Five Elements". It's a perfect example of aesthetic art over unnecessary expensive production. I'm not saying copy that aesthetic. I'm saying take a gander for some inspiration.
For anyone interested in Fog Hill, it's only just released it's second season this year. It's probably one of my favourite animes ever for the art and fight scenes.
It's only about 8 episodes so far, and each episode is about 40 mins. Don't think we'll get season 3 til next year or year after.
The story is about demons and humans, with some elemental masters sealing the demons away, but the barrier between demon and human world seems to be coming down.
I _really_ _really_ _really_ hope Capcom remasters the entire Onimusha series on PS5; or ideally a remake using the RE Engine.

To be honest, no. The only interesting sword fight was between Musashi and Sasaki Kojiro, the whole series is a dissappointment and its Main villain (Iemon) is literally a Bad joke (spoilers: He wasn't Even a Genma).
So far it's fire

Watched some Blue Eyes Samurai and compared to Onimusha. I wasn't so sure what's is lacking Onimusha. It feels old-school animation action styles. I am attracted by the Big influential names from the Film & Creative industry. Takashi Miike , Toshiro Mifune & Kim Ju Gi (The big loss from Comic industry). Blue Eyes Samurai is so interesting to look at every frames works behind the cool action movements.

This show could have been great, but it was totally ruined by terrible CGI animation 😠
Well, you better go cry somewhere else, seriously the Western anime CGI haters are the most pathetic.
I lost interest during the first couple of episodes. When Musashi, one of the greatest Japanese swordsman struggled to take on the zombie village people. Seeing these clips looks like I made the right decision to stop watching.
Fyi the animation was not terrible, if anything it was great, the characters were expressive and the fights were entertaining. Japan sometimes prefer this style of animation and I’m glad it’s becoming more mainstream. Pls be more open minded, it’s part of growing up
@@raikouandfriends2230 I've been watching Anime since before you were born kid, so I'm plenty "Grown up".
Perhaps that's why I prefer hand drawn art to cut & paste CGI trash ?? ....
@@wayloo3843 Unfortunately, the CGI fight scenes only got even worse and more unrealistic in the later episodes 🙄
