Have you posted the video for applying resin? Specifically how long did you wait before removing the tape? You do such beautiful work!
I recommend Art Resins page for learning how to resin your work, the tape can come off at any time once the resin on your piece has cured so I would wait 24 hours.

Hey! I had a question and was wondering if you’d be able to help me. I’ve been experimenting with alcohol inks and I really wanted to do a mix of alcohol ink with plaster over the top to make little islands and then resin. I’m not sure how to do this as I’m unsure if plaster will stick to the Yupo paper and if not is there any other alternatives I could do? An example of what I wanted to do is Kim rose art.
This piece is beautiful. How long between mounting your piece to the panel and applying the resin? Can it be done right away?

I used Liquitex matte gel and got heaps of bubbles I used a rolling pin and everything. Any tips on applying the gel?

Do we need to sand the wood before glueing the painiting
The panels I used were already very smooth so no I did not 👍
Do you seal the exposed wood on the sides?
Does painters tape work as well?
Where do you get the wood panels you use for this?
Before you adhere the art to the wood panel, have you already sealed it with the Krylon spray? Is that step necessary if you use the resin?
Great question! Yes - it is already sealed. It's needed before resin to ensure you don't get any color fading from UV light.

Can I use 70% alcohol?
Do you have to use Yupo paper?
Yes, I think so.. because you want the paint to "float" on the surface. I've read somewhere that white photo paper is good too.
