Loved Kool-Aid as a kid and I still love it as an adult! I usually get those containers that already have both the Kool-Aid and sugar mixed in, though it's sometimes fun to just buy those packets and add the sugar in, myself.
Oh yeah!! I always thought his voice was by Wolfman Jack. Koolaid was basically all I had to drink growing up until I was like 22 when I discovered... water. I do wish Koolaid would release those rare radical flavors again!

as a non american, i got on the Kool aid very late and it was very underwhelming as a beverage , as kids , we were all about TANG , the orange flavored one, i think the first time i had Kool aid was in those small plastic bottles with the top u had to yank out, then some pouches and finally the small packets , lately i found some Crush cherry limeade that is kind tastier, but to this day, i am on a quest to find GFUEL, but it still eludes me..... anw, another awesome IRATE gamer video, much love to u Chris, may ur channel grow bigger.
I used to have that Atari game back in the day. Also there was a vhs/promotional video I remember having too, but I don't remember how I got that. It was probably another proof of purchase type deal. And even though this isn't related in the early 90's Nintendo Power gave away free copies of Dragon Warrior for the Nes as part of a promotional thing for subscribers. I remember that as it was the first time I ever played an rpg and that's what got me into other stuff like Final Fantasy. Not exactly the same, but sort of similar. Cheers Chris!
My favorite flavor was tropical punch. I collected the proof of purchases, but I forgot what I ever used them for. I miss the 80s and 90s. Everything for kids felt edgy gross or madmax-ish. I'm not sure what happened. Everything is bland and plain now. It's like a reverse of what the boomers used to complain about. They were like "kids these days and their loud metal music, neon colors, and ripped clothing". Now for me its "kids these days with their soft music, their flat user interfaces, and their normal clothing". And it's not that they like these things either. If you show them the stuff we grew up with they kinda want it.
I feel you never got enough credit back in the day for building what was a pretty good Kool-Aid Man costume

I was born in 1981. So many memories, even when my mom sometimes mixed Kool-Aid with ginger ale! All of the old flavors need to return!

My niece was born on St. Patrick's Day, we always made the lime flavor. I used lemon Kool-Aid in a chiffon pie last year. It wss pretty good.
Orange Pineapple, Fruit Punch and Pink Lemonade are my fave/go-to flavors, especially on a hot day, nice way to KOOL off! lol
