This show used to be a regular part of every weekend for me.. even way back before and during the copperhead build I've been hooked.. Stacey is awesome. His wealth of knowledge makes every project achieveable and we'll explained. And it's always done right.. I'm so glad I found him again..binge watching can now begin..
Interesting episode, and I'd love to do something like that to my truck ( I have almost the exact same one ), but there's NOTHING about this that's cheap and easy. Also, although the truck is paid off, it's not worthless, and I'd be concerned about putting that much extra HP through an otherwise stock setup. Adding more power is fun and all, but not if it blows your engine, transmission, diffs, etc. More information about this kind of thing would have been better than the superfluous stuff that took up the entire 2nd half of the episode. We didn't even get to see the headers put on or hear the truck run once it was all done.
As long as you dont put too much boost through the motor, stock internals will be fine. People push it and want more and more power and amp up the boost and break the rules and they blow the engine. Same thing with nos. Stay withing thenrules and you will be fine. I love My Ram Hemi I've boosted her with stock internals and stay in low range boost and she runs great.

160 HP gain is a stretch for about $7,500, while that pushrod 5.7 is 390HP at the crank.... but about 300 at the wheels.

Not doing anything with the transmission or gapping your rings? I wonder how long that will last
It would be great if the was a follow up to tell how the factory 6spd auto puked it's guts with that extra "160 hp"! LOL
Well, could I do it? Am pretty sure I could. However, it’s certainly not just a bolt on when you have to drill your crank.

I mean Flowmaster is grabbage, has so much drone but looks like a nice 450 whp build
Do you really need a cooling airbox with a procharger? Thank you.
In the pickup truck job he forgot to mention that with the supercharger, you now have to run 92 OCTANE!!!! so much for a DAILY DRIVER! $$$... ouch
It is a bit pricey that's true ($6.25/USGal or $1.65/ L) but I'd still do it. In a few years when my truck is out of warranty.
$6.25 a gallon lol?? Wtf we got 93 for $2.95 in ms
Prices have gone up here since I posted. $6.47/USGAL for regular and $6.85/USGAL for mid grade. Highest prices in North America here in Vancouver BC.
@Mr Sunshines You're an idiot. It's actually dependent on compression ratio and in most applications you should run higher octane to avoid detonation.
If concerns are gas prices suggest you get a Honda civic and leave truck at home. My last truck used premium 14 mpg, now my new 2019 gets 22 mpg.
where's your video when you leveled that truck?

I notice they never mention price on anything. This show is for people that have more money than brains
Hey one question when you put headers on the check engine light will stay on right??
Not necessarily. If you have long tube headers and you take out your cats and o2 sensors then it will but you should be able to fix it with a tune.

Just a poor Canadian, I wish I could go to that school
I was fixing to say... That's a procharger. Not a supercharger. It's a belt driven turbo. A supercharger has billet triangle style twisted rotor
Procharger is a brand that makes belt driven superchargers. This is a centrifugal supercharger.
Centrifugal superchargers are Poor Man's power, nothing beats the sound of a turbo
