definitely one of the biggest laughs in the game the first time you play the game, or when you get to the 1950's part of the game, with rocking ricky fox on eclr, some of the comments he has on future inventions as well is absolutely hilarious 👌🏻
Been waiting for this! So excited! Be advised tho as the Definitive Edition has become notorious for glitching out at times. Other than that you'll have a great time. For me the friendship between Vito and Joe is what makes this game so good.
Body shop? What do they sell in bo... oh right, it's just spare organs for cars, nvm. If this game is as good as the first one, it's gonna be a blast :) The two guards were talking crazy! A cartoon you could control by pushing buttons? What a silly concept.
its kind sad really about the whole bodyshop stuff, so much extra content was cut out before the game released, but the bodyshop mods will unlock later in the game. there was supposed to be a whole side quest tree with only that stuff amongst other things, but it got axed when they ran out of time.
The first Playboy Magazine was issued 1953. Not 1945. Game developers seem to have a fuzzy concept of history. By the time of RDR 1, Bleriot had crossed the English channel in an areoplane a few years before, and John Marsden would probably know about that.
its a fictional universe, hence why cities are not known by their real names as well, its fictional. which means that Playboy mind have been launched earlier than we know it to be. i hope you know the difference between fact and fiction.
depends on which "first mafia game" you are talking about, tho in reality there is only one first one from 2002. and the 2002 original version definitely do not play well or nice on modern systems, you have to go in and do all sorts of stuff to trick the game engine to run optimally. this game tho, is the best experience of them all, it has much more freedom outside of missions and the music is just mint.
@@minkavlerenyt The music that wasn’t produced for the game? And they didn’t even add extra world missions as intended, so freedom to do what, exactly?
@greasey8695 why waste time and money producing 120+ songs? none of the mafia games have done this, the benefit that the original mafia game had over the two others here, was that the music from the 1920's and 1930's wasn't under copyright but under public domain, so they saved a lot on that even back in 2002, not even mafia 3 had original music for it, all of the OST's are existing music under copyright, which is why it's so expensive these days to put that into games. well, i like to go around and hunt posters and magazines or just drive around town listening to the radio or if i need money for weapons or the bodyshop, i do the obligatory drop offs at either the harbor or the junkyard, there's quite a lot to do, especially with the posters, i spent hours on it the first time around, it's basically a "mini gta" with the free roam feature. and the extra missions which would have been mostly vehicle related was axed by the higher ups at 2K, because they wanted the out and not postponed, so instead of taking the time, they just axed everything that wasn't ready.
@@heyhocodyo97 i completely agree, it is the absolute best experience in the series, it does the best to throw you into the universe and make it feel like you're there, without a first person mode, and the radio and free roam definitely helps with that, i love eclr and RRF, i sometimes spend an hour or two just cruising and listening to tunes. just such a shame they never got the chance to actually finish the game 100% before release.
Hey, great to see you playing Mafia 2, Audrey. I really liked that game. 🙂
You drive like a maniac! And surprisingly I think I kinda like that.😅
Love how Vito is sneaking around, while one of the security guards is inventing videogames in his head 😂

One of my all time favourites games. Looking forward to this one.

@@minkavlerenyt Gee, no i have no idea about the difference between fact and fiction, smartass.
No disrespect to this version of Mafia games but the first Mafia game play was better and the visuals were better
