Hi, Bulent. I finally watched Drive less than a year ago. I really enjoyed it for so many reasons. I love the story behind the making of it as well. This was a fun watch. Your lighting, composition and color correction are always great. Subbing the Mexican wrestler mask was an interesting choice that added a different element to it, especially with the music.
I have two random questions for you:
1. Do you plan on getting the 6k pro? Why or why not?
2. I have so much m4/3 and m4/3 adapted glass for my gh2 and original bmpcc, what do you guess the odds are that Blackmagic will make a m4/3 Pocket 4k Pro before they ditch m4/3 altogether?
For me, Drive is one of those instant classics. Everything about it oozes cinematic storytelling - And thanks!
1. No plans to get the 6K Pro. I’m happy with my OG BMPCC & BMMCC 😊
2. I doubt blackmagic will bring out a 4K Pro. Seems they’re leaning more toward higher res cameras with bigger sensors. The sensors I understand. The higher res, not so much.
If I decided to upgrade, I’d personally go with the current BMPCC 4K with a speedbooster. It’s got all the software functionality of its big bros for half the price 👍
@@bulentozdemir Thanks for your two cents. And I agree about the higher resolution. I really think high quality 2K final output is as high as we ever need to go for cinematic footage for the human eye to enjoy. So much of the footage from the newer, high res cameras looks really similar to my eye, and not in a good way. As the resolution goes to 4k and beyond, it just looks overly sharp and videoy, even with higher dynamic range and better highlight rolloff.

No planned story. Just testing out the BMPCC 4K & Anamorphic combo which ended up being the edit you see. A visual hat tip to ‘Drive’.
