tree house anchors, a scaled down version of those used on the behemoth projects on TV. Mine was a 12x5 platform that looked like a ship and was intended to hold 2-3 pirates. Worked well.
@@docellis6866 I would have to agree with Thomas. Being an engineer I would never use this grade of bolt or that type of thread for wood. This would be good for some applications but terrible for a tree house. "Accident waiting to happen" is putting it kindly.
It was a platform made to look like a ship for 3 small pirates. Not a home like they do on TH Masters. The six bolts exceeded the need for the small load.

people not exposed to theory of structural analysis and mechanics of materials won't understand how this is playing with luck.
a 5/8 bolt seems pretty light . but , can't tell what your using it on so maybe its ok . good luck
