God damn. I used to be horrifically depressed. The true depths. I would just listen to this song with earphones walking around public places. Looking at everyone else being happy and enjoying their lives. I want to go back in time and give myself a hug. God damn.

@@astro-tbo9322 so. Spotify uses a really lame file coding, and it compromises the sound quality. A lot of artists not on Spotify ain’t, because of that. It’s on Apple Music and Bandcamp, because both support Loseless Files. I always go on my Philip Seymour kicks and this song always gets me.
Life is beautiful. Can it be somber and depressing? All too often. But the good times make it all worth it.

[Verse 1]
I may be dressed as a doctor, dear
But I'm not, I'm just acting up
Got high hopes

I may act like a bombardier
But don't be fooled, cause my aim is off
No need for alarm

Take a walk down its molding streets
And feel right at home
Cause the dead don't talk
It'd be so nice, if you weren't here
Empty air, where you used to stand
Like an empty plate

Jim O’Rourke is truly a next level lyricist. Unbelievable. Heart wrenching , but pitch dark comedy too….

Jim o’rourke hates Spotify with a vengeance. His stuff is only on iTunes cause they updated to lossless quality files years back.
@Rustin Cohle "If that's the case, then how are his other songs available on Spotify?"
