You know, I was born muslim, I got raised and taugh by my parents with three different massive languages. Bahasa Indonesia, Arabic and english. I'm not a native speaker but I was brought up by having obligation how to understand what the very text of Al-qur'an talks about and of course it was not only about the meaning but also about what the qur'an's pronunciation is really like. So I practiced them three huge languages, especially the arabic. Well I did my best in my own ability how to pronounce these three of languages and it worked. So I'm not surprised if somebody says there are lots of similarities between indonesia and arab because that was what my childhood learned about.

If I think about your name, are you a Javanese and automatically as an Indonesian too? And you can't native language? Where are you living now?
Hm I'm an Indonesian too. And as native person, I'm a Minangnese, or you can say me as the person of Minangkabau ethnic.
I'm a muslim too and I was studied in a madrasah in the past. (In Indonesia, it mean as school for muslims, or it can be as Islamic school). I was learned Arabic at that time. But since I was became an alumnae, I'm not learn it again, except when I'm learned to some of website about some Arabic words and want to remember some of the words which that forgotten.
Hehe, sorry if my English is not perfect. So I'm training my self for English here. That why I'm not use Indonesian language (Bahasa Indonesia) here, because for my English training and I think you can understand because you're Indonesian too. :)

so if I wanna say "my husband", it is same when I say "my hubby".
but if u want it like in Arabic where "y" means "my"
like zawj = husband/one of pair. when it becomes "zawjy" means my husband ^^

Most Arabic words were absorbed into Indonesian. This cannot be separated from the history of the Indonesian and Malay who are dominated by Muslim. Wajah, kursi, sehat, fakir, miskin, hayat, mati, Senin, Selasa, Rabu, Kamis, Jumat, Sabtu, Ahad, derajat, salam, kubur, lisan, ilmu are very commonly used words that come from Arabic words.
Some words related to Islam such as sholat, doa, ruku', masjid, wudhu, doa, assalamu alaikum, jihad, syahadat, zakat, sedekah, kurban and others....

I'm from Croatia. I speak several languages including Portuguese, Spanish, French, English, German, and of course Croatian, my native language. Arabic, Portuguese and Turkish have always been my favorite languages. 💓 Arabic language is music to my ears. When I was 8 years old, I heard (Egyptian) Arabic for the first time in my life on television and I fell in love. From an early age I was fascinated by Arab culture, architecture, customs, music and language. Arabic language is melodious and magical. I'm obsessed with that language since childhood. Arabic sounds like a beautiful bedtime story. Arabic is the richest language in the world, with over 4.5 million words, compared to 1.5 million in English.
Arabic language is melodious, exotic, sexy, sensual, romantic, passionate, gentle and aggressive at the same time. Arabic is sexy as fuck, it's a perversion for my ears. 😊 In my opinion, Levantine Arabic and Gulf Arabic are the most beautiful Arabic dialects. Lebanese Arabic and Emirati Dialect are my favorites. Arabic music is my drug. 🥰 In our language we have 3,000 Arabic words. The Spanish language has 4000 words of Arabic origin, and the European Portuguese has 8000.
ARABIC - MOST BEAUTIFUL WRITTEN LANGUAGE
To the eyes of a reader accustomed to the classical Latin or Roman alphabet, the Arabic script with its artful and cursive calligraphy is akin to an elaborate ornament rather than writing. Written from right to left, without distinct upper or lower case letters, Arabic script seems to flow on endlessly, in a truly mesmerising fashion. It is not surprising that Arabic calligraphy is venerated as a form of religious art and hand stitched and painted on holy objects or places.

As a Malaysian, I would say maybe 20% of Malay vocab has Arabic origin... Especially words related to Islam and Muslim Practices.
In fact our old writing system (jawi) using Arabic alphabet. If we never being colonized by England, we might be still using it to this date...
Most southeast Asian Muslim also familiar with Arabic since Qur'an was taught to young children. In fact some religious schools provide Arabic as one of their core subjects.

Names of days in indonesia come from arabic except for minggu (from santo dominggo, portuguese influence). Names of days in arabic are expressed in counting of the week days like the first day (ahad), the second (ithsnin - senin) , thalis - selasa, arba - rabu, khamis, jum'ah (meaning conggregation, not in counting manner) and sab'at - sabtu. But in english and latin they are names after their ancients gods like sun(day), moon, etc

This is cool Bro Bahador. I like this and thanks for doing this. Suggestion is Part 2 of this haha
Actually so many loanwords in Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian language) are from Arabic, they are about more than 1000 but the frequency is not too much. I mean the words are not too much we use in conversation every day, such as Hakikat, Musim, Jadwal, etc. It will be use when we talk about a topic maybe.
It is different with Sanskrit. The loanwords from Sanskrit are not as many as Arabic in Bahasa Indonesia, but the frequency is so often and be the root in Bahasa Indonesia, such as Karena means Because, Nama means Name.
Even the "Language", we use Bahasa for Language that is from Sanskrit (Bhasa) instead of Lughat from Arabic, but we use Logat for accent or dialect. And yeah we always ask about language than accent, right?
*correct me if I am wrong
