- BRIAN "HEAD" WELCH SIGNATURE SERIES: www.espguitars.com/products?c...
Seven-string innovator and co-founder of Grammy-winning nu metal kings Korn, Brian “Head” Welch is one of the most influential guitarists in metal. Blending heavy, downtuned guitars, electronic elements, and unrestrained vocal melodies, Korn has been one of the biggest heavy bands on the planet since their debut in 1993. Head’s LTD Signature Series models, the LTD SH-7 EverTune and LTD SH-207, are based on the ESP Custom Shop guitar he had built to his precise specifications.
Best 7 strings I've ever had.
ESP/LTD does good these days with their endorsements.
They always have done good! Metallica, Queensryche & dokken back when they started in the late 80s
And now they’ve got Mick Thomson coming in too. Signature model expected in 2024.
I'd like an ESP guitar that head plays awesome
Amazing
Hell yeah!!! Very nice.
Baddass axe ! And kick butt tone !
I lov KoRn! ICONIC band!
🙏
Should have mine tomorrow 🤘🏻💀
Lucky. Did you get the model with the Evertune bridge? I've had some decent Shecter 7 strings but they were never quite as good as Brian's Sir Headly 7 string.
@@leadme2thebliss21 yes it does, it’ll be my 1st experience with the evertune so we’ll see in a couple hours when it arrives,..I’ll be posting a video tomorrow on here if you’d like to check it out 👊🏻😊
When is the ESP version coming out?
It’d be more expensive than the LTD model, which is currently $2000, and if Bidenflation stays up, it could be even more.
🔥
Nice guitars. And Stephen C. signature are nice too. The only downside of this guitar's, the 25.5 scale. I wish ESP/LTD would release a cheaper guitar like this with 26.5 scale.
This is the most badass design by esp 😎😎😎😎
thats funny to see how original Ibanez sound promoting ESP
wish there was a similar guitar but in a 6 string guitar too
M series or MH series…
MH1000
@@thisguy2973 expensive O_O
@@TrymTheXboxGamer what’s your budget?
@@thisguy2973 about 550 £ maybe 7500 NOK is the idea I have in mind but depends of how much I get in vacation payment this summer so it depends
Mine turns 6 next month. I believe I was one of the first to relieve theirs
When will the ESP " Head" version be available...
You can get it any time via the ESP Custom Shop. www.espguitars.com/pages/esp-custom-shop
what is the song that kicks in @ 0:13?
"Worst Is On Its Way" off their newest album "Requiem"
@@rickyrendon9822 Thanks, Ricky!
@@irishguy977 No problem dude! Glad to help ✌️🤘🤙
No more ibanez k7?
He’s been with ESP since like 2019 or so I believe.
The original K-7 was discontinued in 2006/07 when the APEX 1 came out, as obviously HEAD had parted company w/ KoRn at the time. There was a limited run of K-7 20th Anniversary models out three years back when the APEX 30 was launched at the same time @NAMM
I have the sh-7 and I really like but for the life of me I cant even play it yet. I took it to guiar center to be set up but they made it worse.
Hey when are you guys sending those ESP TL-7 to your providers? I've been waiting for them for months... and now that there is a new model there is no reason for them to not be available... is dumb...
Get in line like everyone else I guess
Still cant believe he left Ibanez. Esp does t suit him. Head and Munky were the reason every 7 String guitar player was going for Ibanez. Still, the guitar looks sick
Well, I heard some of the people he was closest with at Ibanez ended up quitting so that was one of the reasons why. Also, Brian is a huge fan of the band Dokken, and George Lynch is known for playing ESP Guitars!
never cared for ibanez, they were always the copycat company....i can't think of anything they brought to the table other than ripping off other companies.
I'm not rooting for Ibanez, but copy cat company?
Ibanez was just the only option for 7's back in the day. I can guarantee that if companies like LTD or even Jackson were on the affordable 7-string train back then, they'd never have used Ibanez. LTD at least progresses and innovates
@@GrindfatherJones back then, the 7 string guitar was to alien for those brands. Ibanez took a chance with Steve vai together and dominated. Korn, limp bizkit, meshuggah, orgy, dream theater everyone was using Ibanez 7 Strings.
After the video I saw about ESP the other day I’ll not be buying anything if theirs until it’s resolved.
I’m sure they’ll miss you
@@prestonmikel1 How's that boot taste?
What issue? The last 3 ESP/LTDs I’ve bought have been absolutely fantastic right out of the box. Just needed the typical setup for my tuning and string gauge and they were ready to go within an hour.
@@CrzyWzrd4L oh some guitar shop went out of business and esp cancelled some orders that guy was still trying to get fulfilled.
I loved early Korn, but we should all know that high gloss as a finish looks like crap even if fingers, in that persons pocket... pass by the guitar.
I think 7 string guitars for this kind of artists it is too much, they should play 3 or maybe 4 strings guitars
Cool input, time traveler from 1995
SO glad he ditched ibanez, never cared for them, just a copycat company, ESP is a better company, period.
LOL
I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo glad Mick Thomson ditched Jackson, never cared for them either. Their a copyright company like ESP, Schecter, Fender/Squire, Rickenbacker, Gibson/Epiphone, PRS, Yamaha and Gretsch. Encore guitars all the way, their the dogs bollocks ;)
Ltd sucks so bad he doesn't even use his own signature on stage. Jim root uses his fender squire on stage. Hmmmm
Dude had 2 of his LTD signatures in the guitar boat at 0:12 lol. Just because the B-roll doesn’t ALWAYS show him playing the LTD version doesn’t mean he doesn’t use his own sig lol.
Nope, Ibanez still wins... stupid reverse headstock
Boring colour schemes. All the guitar companies. Nothing original. 😴

Sorry I think he can‘t play and it does not take a quality instrument for that kind of „music“ lol
