Nice, Hades is such a misunderstood god in Hollywood he is portrayed as a generic bad guy but in the actual mythology he is chill unlike zeus who is unable to not cheat on his wife every two seconds
This is the influence of christianity putting their mark on the old Greek mythology and pantheon. While Hades was more of a neutral, ruling over the realm of the death, the underworld .. it is christianity that conflates this with hell and the devil. These are completely different concepts and unfairly influenced modern art and pop culture that depicted Hades. There are countless examples of christianity changing older religious and cultural traditions into something different, nearly always for the worst. Good examples are the whole idea of christmas, where the pagan ritual of adorning a pine or spruce tree was converted (or should I say stolen) as to be associated with the birth of Jesus Christ. This is incorrect, as nearly all historians and religious sources suggest he was not born anywhere near the date of christmas. Also easter, where we have the pagan ritual of decorating and hiding eggs, was turned into some religious context related to the resurrection of Jesus Christ. I have nothing against christianity, it brought us many great norms and basic rules of life that do more good than harm, especially in modern days where the violent excesses like religious wars, the inquisition and witch trials are long gone. Still, stealing from older, more nature based religions is just a little sad and I hope we can roll back some of it and have a less hypocritical and more honest version of christianity.
@@sydryi3086 That is because in Greek culture war isn't seen as such a bad thing. History has taught us the atrocities and tragedies of war, but the Greek certainly weren't as familiar. I don't think this is a christian thing in specific.

The first where wolf tried to eat Zeus as an old man his kids did this as well no giving Zeus his son to eat. But brilliant work I also love how you didn’t you the marvel Loki and Thor ,you went really in depth with the details.
A little question about your factions, 1- Why do humans have a bunch of factions and Orcs have one? 2- And you're going to make fractions for werewolves and centaurs? And there is also a super video.
Love the figures, I'd buy a few cases to have multiples. That Saruman hair piece is big on my wants list :) The more recent grappling hook piece + lightsaber hilt makes for a pretty accurate Mjolnir for Thor ;) I recently built an almost identical Zeus with the same body, just with the Gandalf's beard (in white) and the Ceasar CMF hair. Also brickbuilt him a throwable lightning bolt.

I really want to see a really accurate Prometheus and Atlas. They were Titan brothers. Prometheus have humankind the power of fire and was punished by Zeus because he was worried about humans becoming too powerful. The punishment was that he’d be bound to Mount Caucasus with chains and every morning a mighty eagle would rip out his liver that would regrow at night. This happened until Heracles shot the eagle and released Prometheus with Zeus’ permission. Atlas fought along side the titans in the Titanochamy and was forced to the western edge of earth by Zeus and made to carry the heavens. I’m 13 so please don’t judge if I got some stuff incorrect, I love history and fantasy, and also mythology which is a huge part of fantasy if it’s beasts or characters such as Chiron the centaur. I would also love to see someone create a MOC of a Jörmugandr, like a sea dragon.
As a huge fan of Greek,Roman, and Norse mythology this is awesome. Diana is the Roman form of Artemis so you’re not wrong. These all look so cool though personally for Poseidon i would give him a more beachy look since he loves the beach. Regardless these all look great and keep up the great work!!
Diana is the roman equivalent of Artemis, godess of nature and the hunt. They are more or less similar, although Artemis was a tiny step higher up in the pantheon because of how the greek and roman culture respected and honored things differently. The romans for example, were way more involved with Mars (God of war) and Vesta (Godess of hearth and home) than the Greek equivalents Ares and Hestia. I like how you depicted these, a fun little experiment.
hey bro good video. I had idea in mind to further develop the accuracy of the figs. for Odin, i think the Reinhardt head from overwatch would be an excellent piece. For Poseidon a good torso would be from dastan shirtless torso, for his legs Marion Ravenwood from Indiana Jones set 77013 would represent the flowing tactile, lastly the hair it would be good if u take the series 10 hair from the grandma and for the beard it would look nice if you use Sensei Wu's from Ninjago. Zeus looks so cool but for a nice touch giving him a lightning bolt would enhanced and give the impression that he is Zeus. For Lycaon the grey werewolf head would further emphasis the picture you're trying to portray but the brown look already good because of the complementation of the brown trinkets of the body. and the rest is a good representation of the minifigs. I liked the way you curated them from various pieces and parts. A very good video every time.

As a fellow white guy, I can assure you that it's fine to see Odins one eye as symbolic rather than literal. The one eye is associated with mysticism and knowledge as far back as ancient Egypt, so it's likely that it refers to an "inner eye/minds eye" being Odins wellspring of knowledge rather than him just having one eye. I love vikings and I think you did a great job repressenting these characters and will take some inspiration for sure!
