Yeah, we really need less expensive sets and battle packs! Your designs were amazing! Especially the Rohan one! You have definitely grown as a MOC builder!
As a MOC builder, this is really all I want from LEGO... Not giant $300-$400+ sets, but smaller battle packs to get figures that I can use in MOCs. I really hope LEGO comes out with more battle packs (other than Star Wars I mean...).
I'd settle for more $40-$80 ones, honestly. Army building isn't everyone's thing; sometimes the fun is in the build.
@@IamMeHere2See I agree. I'm not really talking about army building, just getting enough figures to use in MOCs.
@@BDD_Builds Very fair, as I do understand that appeal. I limit mine to 6-20 figs per faction, as that seems a good number for scene building. Any more & I cannot justify the expense because I won't have the space. Already I have my favorite sets on a monthly rotation that ties to a cleaning schedule.
Take notes LEGO - these are the exact designs that would get me to spend way more money than I really should!
The great part about your onager is that it is pretty accurate to the source material, including using torsion.
That Rohan battle pack is perfection!!!
Excellent. Would love some new LoTR sets
As a big LOTR fan - these are awesome! Nice building techniques and great use of the torsos. I like how the back torso prints also work when flipped around
The fact that Lego hasn't done this yet along with battlepacks for literally every fictional faction proves their incompetence. If I were CEO of Lego, the first thing I would do is make a BP of every clone legion, then a BP of every castle faction etc...
This is really cool to see as someone who loves lord of the rings and Lego. Thanks for the video Goldfyre!
This is a wonderful video and a good idea for Lego to follow up on! To many expensive sets and then they just become nice to look at but with something like this you can feel like your getting your money’s worth while also having some amazing sets!
Superb! These look great, and thanks for the shout-out on the Gondor army!
Amazing! Keep up the good work!
Once again a great video, keep up the good work!
These look great! I wish Lego would make something like this!
It's kind of crazy to me that we didn't get ANY Gondor minifigures in the LOTR line back in the day, unless you count Boromir and the Black Gate variant of Aragorn. I'd love to see a brick-built Oliphaunt as the centerpiece to a set with the Ithilien rangers, or something set in Osgiliath.
Dude, these are so cool. I really like the $20 range you were building with. It really helps to have a size you are trying to fit sometimes to make a good build, like knowing how big or small you want it in the end is really important!
Should’ve put a minifig head in the orc catapult ammo box, to reference both book & movie siege of Minas Tirith
Those custom helmets r nuts
Wow, awesome! I would buy all of them!
LEGO needs to hire you!
Love these especially the Rohan one. I hope Lego can do something like these in the future
I love this especially bc I’m really into Lotr right now
I really love your videos man they're all really amazing and its really cool to see you become a better builder over time
That's so good! I want buy all this!!!!
I would buy heaps of Mordor battle packs
Throwback to when I was 10 and made my own LotR-lego with what I had
All in all, I like what you've done here. The Rohan on is my favorits e & most likely to happen considering the Rohan anime coming out later this year. The onnager will probably need wheels for LEGO to approve it, but the build is awesome. I'll check out more of that builder's works!
Bro you should upload these to lego ideas or send them to lego these are great, continue making great lotr mocs
I would definitely buy the gondor and mordor ones.
GoldFyre your builds and Minifigures are absolutely INCREDIBLE 🥳🥳🥳
That Gondor wall could easily be from Osgiliath given how the place is mostly ruins.
the oliv green viking torso plus goat legs works so well. i use em for one of my elve dnd chars. looks so good together with an heoric knight and dragornborn with the vidiyo head
I like the first one the most, i think the tower looks great
Great stuff. My only suggestion would be to give the Rohirrim bigger beards. That's a big part of their look.
There will be a Rohan battle pack by the end of the year or very early next year.
I don't even know all that much about Lord of the Rings but it was still an entertaining video. Great job bro!
can you do Dwarf and Elf battle packs? and the dwarves got a chariot war machine in in the extended version of Battle of the five armies? and the Elves made like the Mirkwood elven warriors, and give them some elks to ride?
Awesome mocs! I would personally make one for each of the 'factions' of orcs. Moria orcs (goblins) seem out of place to me next to Uruk-hai
bricks and dice is great
Cracker builds amd mix ups as well..builders who build need to realise sometimes these small builds and scenes..can be better than one massive build.!! And I personally prefer and find a bunch of small builds can make the eyes and imagination capture the scene/s a lot easier.!!
Nice shoutout of JD Brick, his stop motion vids are the best on UA-cam
They need to bring back these medieval/fantasy themes.
You should be excited because there's a new LOTR movie coming out at the end of this year I'm pretty sure, ABOUT Rohan and I'm pretty sure we're gonna be getting some battle packs from that hopefully!
I also love LOTR ir is just so cool, I also have Rivendell and I highly recommend it to anyone.
@@Goldfyre yeh I understand and I hope lego will start to give us some battle pack or something like that.
I WANT THIS
great vid bro, id buy all of them so many times🤑😂
The Aragorn torso + viking legs combo is just beautiful. If Lego remade the Aragorn fig, I wouldn't complain if they used that leg print.
If they matted the silver on the legs a bit then that's be even better!
the catapult is awesome! but I feel like it could be on wheels and be pulled by the warg! thaat'd be swweeeettttt
Great stuff as usual! It boggles the mind that TLG can’t figure out how well Castle and Middle Earth battle packs would sell.
I really like how you recreated Game of Thrones characters with LEGO. Could you please try making the characters from The Witchers and The Chronicles of Narnia?
Man I'd love to see some cheaper LOTRs sets.. I'm curious to see what Barad-dûr will look like.
Is my favorite video that you’ve done
I actually would love to see the old videos of your battle pack diarama
You did a great job my friend! :D How are you? Also what will you do for your next one?
This is great maybe you could spilt the Ork battle pack in Uruki and morador orks to make it even between good guys and bad guys
Nice
Love the Ronan helmets where Did you get them?
They are custom prints from Cultbricks :) He has a shop & instagram page if you're interested in checking his stuff out.
I would want to see a dwarf castle or fortress tackled with an elf battle pack to oppose it since canonicaly the two don't get along as well, with maybe a hobbit one but more for laughs than actual army building. That idea would be cool for a sequel to this video I think
Все просто великолепно у тебя таки не стандартные идеи это просто шикарно
you could try to make Beorns lodgings from the hobbit into a moc
i heard they were planning on lord of the rings battle packs later this year definitely one for Rohan since the war of the rohirrim is coming this year
I still can not believe Lego haven’t done battle packs for LOTR yet. I would lose every penny I own on it, and I’m just one guy. They could make a killing on this. Surely a big company like Lego wouldn’t turn down extra money 🤣
Definitelly we need a LOTR battle packs, especially Gondor and Elf warriors. I like your versions a lot. I am surprised that u don't have an official Rohan soldiers, they are the most detailed medieval faction ever, mostly 'cause Theoden and Eomer. Where do u have the boss white warg?😅
I own helms deep and I am lucky to have theoden and 4 official Lego Rohan soldiers. If Lego does make a new Rohan battle pack which might happen due to the war of roheirm movie I would buy at least 4
It would ne amazing to get some lotr battle packs. Really miss middle earth lego sets :/
Great idea. These packs with a building or catapult would cost at least $40-50. I would rather just have the 3 figs and an animal. That would be $20 US or, in my case, $30 here in Australia. Lego only seems to want to slug Castle or LOTR/Hobbit fans with expensive sets. The new Town Square is $400 AU, and Rivendell, which I would love to buy, is $800 AU, so something like these to be army builders would be amazing and sell like crazy. Lego doesn't seem to understand the demand is there.
Maybe you can make the same things but with orcs
I love Rohirrim battle pack
👍
Can you write all the pieces for minifigures you used?
Minas Tirith ? Wasnt it Osgiliath ? Still great battlepacks
Bro where do you buy lego at online?
What is your favourite LOTR army because mine is the Rohan army commanded by king Théoden
My son and I actually just did this, but using all Pick a brick parts. It worked great, you can get those Viking torsos and Lego's non printed helmet that look great. The Viking shields are perfect as well. The Roman gladius type sword looks a lot like the Rohan sword. Both shield and sword types are available on Pick a Brick.
Lego would make milions if they made lotr battlepacks to be honest. I thought of it back in 2015😅 and still think si
If only. If only.
could you do a Skyrim LEGO video.
It's a videogame that deserves some Lego sets
Man what would i give for a revival of lotr as a normal theme. Only two sets but both cost 400€+, who got the money for those?
Really dont understand why lego doesnt do it, it would sell like crazy
These turned out fantastic!. I think the Rohan one is my personal favourite
( not just because they were my favourite faction in the movies ) but because you translated the concept art perfectly!.
You said the build was “too big” for a battle pack and I agree, I think making it 3 walls would fix that issue. Also loved the orc battle pack and the variety that came with it, Gondor also turned out pretty well to my surprise, I may have to use that torso and leg combo from the ranger!.
Fantastic work man, have a great day :)
there are rumors about upcoming lotr battlepacks
Also I’m wondering if we could see you make a big battle diorama or if you could show us the cringey videos that you have of the ones you made as a kid
hey goldyre i have this idea for a set the lore comes from the tournament knight the lore is that the clans of knights diagree in a lot of the things so to ave a leader they have a tournament where a knight of each clan fights untill one survives and the leader of that clan is the king for the year so i made the set in mecabricks but i tried to upload it to this bricklink desginer program thing but because i didnt make it in bricklink studios they dont let me what do you think of the set
Under day club👇
jo
Please dont put three completely different types of orcs together...
@@Goldfyrei have to agree orcs in the movies, books, sets they all look different
@Goldfyre it's a battle pack. There weren't battles with Saruman's Uruk Hai, Moria, and Mordor orcs all at once. It's like making a castle battle pack with a black falcon, a raven knight, and a lion knight.
@@henrydegroff4282 That's pretty understandable. I was trying to go with some variation for them so that you could build 3 armies at the same time.
@Goldfyre that makes sense. Honestly, I really appreciate this type of video. I desperately want more small Lord of the Rings sets and having creators like yourself make content like this is awesome.
Honestly the Gondorian and Orc ones dont make sense.
Gondor's should be the trebuchet mounted on Minas Tirith and Mordor's should h a monster. Eithe the Mountain Giat from the BFME2 game or the Fellbeast even the Nazgul ride.
Rohan one is beautiful though.
The mountain giant from BFME isn't on Mordor's roster though.. it's a goblin unit.
My mom said it my turn to be pinned
Go dawgs
@@Goldfyre yes sir
@Goldfyre where did u get the helmets for the riders of Rohan
@@ReapersBones He got them at CultBricks.
