I just love watching your creations come to life, week after week, ideas sparking creativity, creativity forming solutions, and all the odd shapes and greebles finally coming together to construct something truly amazing and unique, that no one else could have even envisaged at the beginning.
Some great choices here, most notably the use of the clear ornaments as eyes/cockpits. I think that the probiscis/mouth area needs a bit more form to give it that perfect face, but I look forward to seeing what you decide on. Something that does come to mind is further sensory input appendages or forward cameras, and maybe something that evokes a refueling probe, but again that's just some of my quick thoughts. Continuing to enjoy this project!
I was thinking that the "eyes" could be turrets instead of cockpits when you started assembling that part. I don't think it would have looked as good as what you came up with. This build is really coming along great!
Looks a but like a mosquito witha vers short nozzle now. I thinks some asymetry would work well to break this look. Why are there two cockpits afterall? Does one control the weapon system and one is the actual pilot! Visually both cockpits still serve the same function. Maybe adding some weapons or antenna arrays could help to break the very figuartive image of the insect. Sure its supposed to look like its inspired by a dragonfly, but i guess this is a little bit on the nose. Apart from that i am really impressed with the precision and fot of your customs parts. Great eye for adding details to areas that are "too simple" Really looking forward to what YOU make out of this projects. Sure i have my opinions on how to continue with this, but i come here to see what your ideas are. So keep in mind that, when u read comments like mine, that your artstyle makes these projects as cool as they are. Do what you like, that makes this channel so unique :)
You could have continued the top of the vacuum cleaner to flow between the cockpits and create some continuity with the body, then used it as the mounting location for a sensor. Just a thought.
I have noticed over the past 5 years or so. People have used vacuum cleaners. For all kinds of cool ships. In the past. When at times. You can posted on the internet. Even the up right. So yeah if you have the right kind and little imagination. One can pull it off.
I love the pieces you used up front, but i think it might be good to exagerate them further. Maybe something on a gimbal, hanging lower than the eyes? I think pushing it further and giving it additional functionality will keep the insect mouth appearance but separate it enough to sell the scale of the ship better. Loving the project!
I like the "nose". 9:43 "simple 3d shape" - did you print that flat and bend it? if you modeled it already curved to fit the ship, I'd be interested in seeing how you did that.
I love this kind of build. I’ve done my share of them, but often I get bogged down trying to Imagine the functionality of various parts, like how do the crew enter and leave the cockpits- are there hatches to the outside built into the bubbles, or are there internal passages so that the crew must first enter through an external hatch in the main body of the craft and then climb into the bubbles through those passages? The first means less internal detail to come up with but makes more work getting the hatches symmetrical and functional-looking, while the second forces the design and inclusion of such details even if they are only believable suggestions. Simplification in one place can mean complications in other places. Balancing them is a dynamic process in such builds unless each detail is laboriously worked out beforehand. Sometimes I like to do that, other times I like the flow of making it up as I go.
I like to play CTG videos in front of my (chaotic) bits box to shame and depress the contents. "You see this video? You see this?! You will never be part of anything a tenth as good as this."
In my opinion it would look better without the eyes up front, and with a regular cockpit, and I'd rather use the eyes as side gunner turrets. But it looks good anyway! :D

Man, this is shaping to become one of your best works
This is really shaping up. Looks very good. Can't wait to see the wings on it.
adding the cockpit really made it look less like just a vacuum, loving the way this is taking shape
Very nice. The proboscis is an interesting detail.
love your work. I usually draft a plan and sketch anything I make.
I always know what the finished model will look like. 😁
Awesome build so far dude 👍👍
I would flip that small front piece 180 degrees. The black part would then look like an insect mouth! Love the build so far!
Impressive.
This build is starting to become my favorite so far from you !!! such a great idea, can't wait to see more progress :o

looking great! like the front!🐝

I know this is still wip, looking forward to seeing more details on and in the cockpits!

I like that gimbal idea!
@CutTransformGlue Looking forward to how your work through the idea!

Dragonflies are predatory insects, so I think biting/chewing mouthparts would be more consistent than the nectar sipping "proboscis"

So now I have to make the LEXX spaceship😅

Twin cockpits don't make sense - too much form before function
asmr episode i guess
Oh P0RR44 te entregou kkkkkkkk
