Ya please don't. That was terrifying. Not only that, but you should re-edit the video to not show that method to younger less experienced woodworkers. That's very bad technique with high potential for very dangerous consequences.
Місяць тому+3
Yes, I shouldn't do it like this. But the fact that the video was sped up 4 times in that part makes it seem a little more dangerous.
As a newbie watching can you tell me which part is more dangerous (everything looks pretty scary to me to be honest…) the most scary was the part at 8:12, you mean that one ? I would never do that, would be scared to death !
@@RetifsGaragethat part is exactly what we were talking about. Never ever put your hand that close to a router bit spinning at 1000's of rpms. If that tiny workpiece were to snag or get thrown, your hand is going directly into that bit and getting mangled. Those size workpieces are exactly why you use a router table with a fence and either a push stick or something like the microjig grrripper.
Nice simple project, clean execution, affordable material and tools. One idea: if you make several boxed of the same size, move the corner pieces up slighlty (maybe 5-10 mm), it would make the boxes nicely stackable.

Hello. First of all, thank you. Another friend brought up this idea and it made a lot of sense. Actually, if I had thought of it, I would have done it as you said. I still can because it is a really good idea. It would be a perfect system, especially for storing my piece boards, all the same size and stacked securely on top of each other. Even if a lid is made on top, it would be protected from the dust in the workshop. Thank you again for your comment and idea. Greetings from Turkey 👍
Thanks so much for the great plans! I needed something to hold firewood for a little Solo Mesa stove and from yours, I can make exactly what I need. The only differences will be to keep spiders out so a lid and solid sides with wood handles. But you have me going in the correct direction! Of course I had to hit like and subscribe! Again, thank you!

Thank you so much for the video. I was looking for something exactly like this to use as a store for shoes that will go under a small bench I’m making. I’ll likely add some casters to the bottom as well. Your video has helped me massively so thanks again sir!

I will definitely take this warning into consideration. I have made mistakes before and I have taken criticism into consideration. Thank you for your interest. Don't forget to subscribe 😂 Best regards
Those are very well made. For me, stacking boxes would be more useful than nesting. Nesting are only good while they are empty.

Hello. First of all, thank you. You are right, but I preferred it this way. My wife has already started using it in different places. You can prefer the same size. Thank you again and have a nice day. I would also like to remind you that you can find PDF plans in all my videos.
Good job: If one make them all the same size, one option could be tp raise the 4 corners around 1 cm, therefore the boxes would be stackable and locked together.

i’ve always wondered when i see videos where most of the tools are handmade, what tools were used to make the tools?
22 дні тому
You can watch my videos chronologically. At first I didn't have any workbench. I started by making a circular saw guide. If there was no tool that I needed for a workbench, I made that first. For example, I needed a welding machine for my metal vice, so I made a welding machine and then I made the vice...

Je trouve l'idée très bonne👍👏, mais je me demande quel est le poids que l'on peut mettre dans la caisse car il y a juste de la colle à bois, à moins que ça soit juste décoratif 🤔
Місяць тому
Bonjour.

Okay I don't know if I'm just ignorant but I'm trying to figure out these measurements on here for US inches and feet could someone please help me with that cuz I don't know what 350 is and etc
Місяць тому+2
Hello. I use metric measurements. I stated in the last part of the plans that I gave the measurements in mm. You can divide the value by the coefficient of 2.54 to convert it to inches. In other words, 350mm = 350/2.54 = 137.79 inches. Even if the resulting number is a little off, it doesn't matter. For example, you can use 137.8 instead of 137.79. Even the tip thickness of the pen you use when measuring will cause a change in measurement more than this. I hope I was able to explain. I apologize for not being able to help you more. If you still have any questions, please write again. Best regards

Hallo. Waarom blijkt het tegenovergestelde? Oude planken die ik gebruikte als betonbekisting in de bouw.
