NBC had the best sports themes of all time. NFL in 1994-97, NBA in 1990-2002, and MLB in 1976-82.

@@jonnycolt3124 It was rigged for them to only make it to the conference championship games, not get to the Super Bowl, which would've been maybe the most intriguing storyline in the game's history, to have two expansion teams who entered the league together playing each other for the Lombardi a season later? LOL. OK. Also, the Kraken made the playoffs in their second season, not their first. And also, how the hell was Florida's national championship season in 1996 (not '95) rigged? And the Marlins in '97? Yeah, MLB really rigged it for them instead of Braves-Indians Part II. LOL. You type like a preschooler.

This one was a lot of fun as a Pats fan, especially before all of the success to come (who saw that coming?). Jacksonville did the dirty work and took out a Denver team that honestly owned us for years and even earlier that season. Everyone penciled in a GB - DEN SB that year probably halfway into the season. The Packers still went on to win the SB, of course, but at least it wasn’t a blowout like the Bears game 11 years earlier.

Jaguars may not have got their feel good season that year. BUT Coughlin became a 2 time Super Bowl winning HC with Giants (Canton call soon) AND Brunell got his ring backing up Brees with Saints.
Bledsoe may have won that game and lost that Super Bowl BUT he get vindication in 2001 after losing job in Season to Brady and win another AFC Championship with Patriots and get his SB ring with Brady.
