Hi. Can you show us how to do texture displacement for v1.88? Metode from v1.78 is not working for me.
Unfortunately there is no going back - update to 1.89 - version 1.88 has a BUG.

i got quick easy question where is the opacity map on normal map website? also is it more just black and white?
Use the height/bump/displacement map - yes grayscale
I tried doing the first thing you did but when I do the displacement, the opacity layer is actuall gone but the mesh is still transparent. Mmh

I guess I lack understanding. Is there a reason it won't let you use the texture like a regular mask?
Do you mean the Color Texture as a mask?A colored image has no height information such as a depth / bump / displacement map.
@ProcreateFX but I can use the same image as an alpha, so what is the difference? Is there a reason a colored image can't give displacement in the same way it would if you used it as an alpha?
@@voiceofreason1629 Because a colored image is not a hight / depthmap - it is only a grayscale version of the image.
Can this be used to make like felt on a bear or stuffed animal?
Maybe, if you find the right texture for it.
