- In this one, I do some rockhounding on a mountain fishing trip and get into some INSANE seam agates! With fantastic blue color, fine banding, waterline marks, and crystal pockets, these agates were so much fun to find! I wanted to apologize about the shaky footage in this one; I completely forgot the SD card for my good camera at home, so this was shot on my phone... I hope you all enjoy, and I will make sure to have another one out soon!

I honestly have the best time finding stuff! But then comes the processing of all of it!!! Its hard to process several buckets from one day! It may take weeks, or months! Please do a vid on this subject!!!

I noticed Montana has already had snow ,how much rock hounding do you get each year ?
We have gotten a LOT of snow, much more than usual for this time of year. Usually you get from march to october for comfortable hunting, sometimes february to november if the weather is nice enough. Unfortunately our current snow pack might have ended the season early. I'll still brave the cold to go out during the winter but it's a bit difficult when the rocks are frozen into the ground😂 looks like we may get one more nice weather day this month though so i will likely try to make it count!👍
That area is really beautiful, I was day dreaming of being there too! Its nice when you can find beautiful rocks along with breathtaking scenery! Some really cool agates you found there.
