I do really love how the coreography its nothing complicated or pretencious, just acuratelly to the music, and stylish. All what makes this routine beautiful is her poise and elegance
She’d have probably won were it not for that one big stumble on (was her third?) tumbling pass. What saddened me was she never got to go to the Olympics. Never figured out why.
@@blob4750 same. I was shocked in 2012 to see her nowhere to be found, I was figuring her for an Olympic team spot. I never figured out what happened other than speculation that it was an injury.
I do love this routine, but mostly for the first two passes. I don't find her an especially artistic gymnast, and the fact that this routine comes off as such really shows how low the bar has dropped 😭.
This was actually qualifications round to get into floor finals. At the floor finals she had a really deep landing on her punch front 1/2 and it lost her a medal.
Very clever routine. I love how she stag jumped out of the 3rd pass, no deductions for that landing :) Surprised she only scored 14.500! I think she should have atleast scored 14.600 or more! :D Good luck for her tomorrow!
I have always loved this set. Especially that second pass, so unusual but, very hard to execute. The choreography fits her perfectly.

Today must be my lucky day! First Huang Qiushan and now her. I really see the artistry coming back.
