I use small soft gray sheep wool on my matte black faux leather counter stools. They protect the chairs, add color, and are warmer to sit on in our cold winters.
I hope to see more interior design. I love love love it. ❤

I never would’ve thought of a blanket because I only have them in the living room and bedrooms, but what a cozy idea! Love this, the amazing lighting for a centerpiece, and OF COURSE candles. They are my weakness! I need them going when I’m home and settled in for the night! Great idea with the books too!

Emily Wheatley Oh, that's good to hear aboutthe flickering light. As a teacher, I've worked with children in my classroom where flickering lights were a big NO NO. For people with epilepsy, flickering lights, strobe lights, and even some striped fabrics (Eek, I personally love black/white striped clothing!!). Your flickering globe raised my teacher antennae but I'm glad to hear it's just caused by a video camera! It's a beautiful lamp btw!

Hafta agree with hubby on upholstered chairs though….these don’t appear to be easily reupholstered.
I went to this mexican restaurant and it was so inviting and cool that they had all kinds of photography and art book on display behind our table, oh and they were on sale hehe … your console with the books and lighting reminded me of that. I LOVE that. To have that in the dining area just makes it so cozy and intentional. And your chairs look so freakin comfortable!

The light choices, blanket, books, and suddenly it's a room with a focused, warm identity. I have never thought of dining rooms as real living spaces (I don't have one 😁), but ok, want one now.

Sorry the flashing light would annoy me,each to their own.l had 3 children and l agree with your husband light upholstered l had light grey and that was bad enough accidents happen.Just my thoughts.
