It's good to see you craftsmanship, working with your friend. I know you have other interests. I'm watching them as well. You're step by step explanation is enjoyable. Take care God bless you and family
So glad to be able to watch and learn from you once again. I'd still rather pick what I watch on YT than flip channels finding nothing on cable! Blessings abundant!
I was fixing to to the TV off when I saw your channel. I have been praying for you and God answered my prayers tonight. His hands are upon you and your family. Keep following Him.
Never heard of this method before to build a house. Very interesting. Hope you were able to relax with your family and enjoy some fireworks. God bless you.
When I first saw these ICF things come out I was a bit dubious but they really are very good way to build! It's very nice that they can be flat-packed too. @3:32 Love the face on the form :)
Happy Independence Day, Barry and family; from my 'hale' (home) to yours! Your dedication and work ethic are indicative of what makes the American spirit special! I hope you were able to enjoy those "explosions in the air"!🌟
Very much enjoy your videos. I like your very matter of fact view point. This is a very interesting building concept. Thanks for the original introduction a few years back and this refresher.
I'm so glad you're bringing us along on this build. you and your Dad are experts. I learn so much from all your videos! With housing costs so high, diy is the only way people will be able to build. will be building an icf here in CA. You are so right about the sunscreen. It's bad on so many points. Mineral sunscreen is a safer alternative and comes in powder too.
This was very interesting! My husband and mission team has built small houses for women and children in the Dominican Republic. They built 5 in a week. Tiny houses. He told me they went up like Legos, but watching this I get it now. - watching from Lake wales,Florida
Like the way with words ..lol😅 wish i could work that fast ..WOW but I'm gettting to old...haha...great job...House is going to be awesome, when done..Thanks Berry!
I really like this method of house construction! I imagine the only drawback might be when you want to make a change to the house design. Would you have to cut into the concrete? But I think it would be very insulating and easy to build. Great job! :)
Hey Barry. Very interesting video. Insulated concrete must be very cool for hotter areas. Are those a thing in colder climates too? Good to see you again. Don't use sunscreen myself. Gotta keep the ears covered though cause once the sun damages them the bumps burn for weeks. Think it's like a pre cancer thing. Anyway blessings from Tottenham Ontario Canada ❤👍😊🇨🇦
According ot Harvard medical sunscreen is not bad for you. Some studie said that sunscreens with oxybenzone can cause issues. But that studie was made on rats and they made the rats eat the stuff. With normal use of sunscreen with oxybenzone it would take over 250 years to get same exposure to it. Protect your skin man the UV rays are far worse then the sunscreens. Anyways glad to see your back with building stuff. 🙂
@@teret6719 There is no evidence of that ask any dermatologist and they will tell you the same. Some people maybe allergic to certain sunscreens and they should stay away from them. I have seen the results in not using sunscreen and being out in the sun for to long its not pretty. I put my faith into medical professionals in this case. But eveyone can do what they want with their body in the end.
Question is this easier build than wood? Just curious it looks easier but I'm not a builder. Glad to see you back on doing videos always interesting and eventful
I'm so glad to see you looking healthy again. I would so love to build a house like this. But, I have to mute the video when you are cutting the foam. It's like fingernails on a blackboard to me. Makes my skin crawl. So you poured a concrete foundation before starting with the walls? Would it be possible to share the plans? I'd like to see them.
What is the name of the company who makes this system for building a structure? You have amazing skills, Barry. Jack of all trades and good at everything you attempt.
Barry, this may be a stupid question, but how in the world are you all gonna be able to wire this house up for electrical use? If the walls are concrete and there is foam insulation on both sides of the wall? God’s continued blessings on you and your family.
Always a bonus when I see the empty hammock posted a video
Glad you're back. Will be following all your adventures!

Thanks for sharing this new adventure! I look forward to seeing more of the build.
Whatever you do, you make it original, interesting, and educational. Love your videos.
You're a very hard working person. Spending a lot of time working on your own. Well done
Nice to see you Barry. I hope you keep us up on this build. It’s fascinating!
I’m gonna try
It's Barry 😊 Great to see you back. You have so many skills. Don't get overheated. Looking forward to future videos.
Thank you for sharing this building style. I am glad you do not edit out all the bloopers. That rainstorm was a surprise, it gave me a good laugh.
What an interesting concept. Welcome back, Barry.

Pretty interest. Can't wait to see the final project.

I am so glad you're back! This is going to be an amazing process. Thank you for coming back on UA-cam!
..for now anyway. :)
Yayyyyy your back 🎉
We’ll see what happens..
Such an interesting process! My daughter and I said it ( the wall pieces) was almost like grown up legos…can’t wait to see the finished product!
yep
That is a cool way to build a house!
Mechanical Sunscreen..have to remember that one. Watched a few ICF build here on YT and see the tech changing and getting more fine tuned.

Fascinating! Thanks for all the explanations and close-up camera shots. I hope you post lots of videos about every stage of this build.

Looks amazing! Welcome back! Keep it coming. 🙌❤️👏
Wow how ‘easy’ it seems & definitely fast too. Can’t wait for next install! Great job.

Great video, Barry. God bless y'all ❤
Very interesting build. Looking forward to seeing the entire process. Also a total cost when complete.
Really nice to see you back!
Love your wit - it always makes the videos more fun.
With all that humidity, thank goodness something's dry.😏
ha!
Curious to see how the concrete gets under the window bucks.
I'll show you.

Wow, very interesting. Wondering the cost compared to regular build. I like it‼️👍🙋🏻♀️😎👏👏👏
Never mind…I looked it up…too expensive for my pocket. 😆😁
Interesting concept.

Nope, sunscreen is bad for you. I wouldn't put a whole lot of faith in anything that comes out of Harvard these days. Especially medical advice.

Your a real pro..great video
Interesting build.
Thanks for the video!
Great video. Hopefully we can watch it all the way to house completion?
ill try
Looks great 👍🏼 wondering about the tiny house you were building.
i talked about it in a another video..
So cool!!!

“Easy" is relative. It’s just different.
Ask Buford about how much would a house like that cost to build using a crew?
How expensive is it compared to a regular build?
Depends on your local cost of concrete, but usually it’s a bit more, however you can heat the house with a candle.. so there’s that..
@@EmptyHammock I'm thinking of building a shed that won't fly away with a storm in Florida
😀👍👍👍👌

It will be a standard 3 bed 2 bath ranch. I'll probably show the plans at some point.
I like whatever you do will be watching
What are the benefits of this type of house?
👍💞

Nudura
I love it, but I'm hypersensitive to the sound of Styrofoam rubbing together. I'll be fine once my blinking stops.😜
ha!
Same here....styrofoam hurts my ears!😮
This type of building is really neat, however there is no way I could handle all that squeaking🤪
I’m deaf enough it doesn't bother me. 🤣
How many square feet will this house be?
under 2k
Wish you could build me a house....If I had'nt squandered my money on travel all my life😮
:(
Harder?
Just more squeaky.
