    For roller hockey I would recommend the wrap-around with normal tape, this will give you less friction with the plastic bottom but won’t ruin you stick

      Buddy says in the video that not having full tape was better cause the tape isn't grabbing and creating friction

      I scrape the bottom on pavement before so then it’s just the plastic wrap around on the bottom. Also you won’t ruin your stick

      He might be like me, I’ve always been out shooting in the winter but never learned proper technique + my skating is ass. Now that I’ve started really playing hockey it’s super difficult to learn everything but I’m getting there

    tape is really good on ice because there is very little friction. for extra grip, use wax

    Blade tape is old school man!!! Stuff was huge in the early 2000’s. I think it was ahead of it’s time

    The rubber blade tape is for roller hockey specifically but they make different ones for ice hockey.

    This is actually pretty great for street hockey…the only thing is tape on the bottom prevents the blade from turning into a “pickle stabber”

    That's all I've used for the past 15 years! Love it, I have pulled off the Michigan many times with it, easy. I also play the laid back men's league, so I'm nothing spectacular.

    Blade tape works well but does cost a bit when you constantly need to buy more rather then a tape roll lasting longer. Another tape similar that I’d suggest is Reztech Hockey Tape. You can get it in white or black now, or even get custom ones if you want to spend more.

    4.5 months is pretty good on how well you played ❤ I've been playing for 6 years. I'm 10 so I started when I was 4. I started skating at 3. I love hockey 🏒 it's my fav sport and I hope someday I make it to the NHL. Hope u succeed in your hockey mission. ❤

    I used these on my kids sticks for a couple seasons... cleaning the blade with a tiny bit of lacquer thinner will help keep them on much longer... once they hit peewees though , they get torn up after a game or two tops.
    Tape is better if you figure out long term costs ... Howies always has deals on tape 🤘🎅🤘

    I used blade tape since it came out. Best non-tape product out there. And non of my sticks are damaged or broken from the outside exposure of the blade.

    Hey just so you know playing without tape on the bottom of your stick will damage your stick just a little heads up

      @@user-yb5vs8pu8p Tape is used almost as much as protection for the blade as it is used for grip on the puck so losing that tape on the bottom of the stick will make the stick blade wear faster

      @@user-yb5vs8pu8pthe tape protects the blade from getting scratched, and when you run the blade on concrete or anything that isn’t ice it acts like sandpaper and ruins the bottom of you blade, which ruins the stick

    I have been playing hockey for 4 years try to wrap tape around the toe of the stick and wrap tape the tip of toe you don't want to see the blade of the stick it is the best you need to try this i use it l have really good snipes with it pls use this I will sub if you use this and make a video of you using this❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

    I thought it was Mexican wrap. Nod to Matthews. I'd imagine that this tape won't make it to the NHL. But try grip tape for skateboarding. It will stick and it's durable. Please let us know how it works
