This is the video I was talking about! Rylan reminds me SO much of my own son with tourettes! Same mannerisms, some of the same tic noises and just over all a lot like him. This is the video I watch every so often just to remind myself there are others just like my boy.
My daughter has autism and she has that same tics and sound's.! I didn't realize she could have tourette syndrome now I know she has it too.!!! I will go back and watch this video again he's such a cute sweet little boy.!!!😊
A tic...or a severe stutter....BLESS you Ry!!! THANK YOU for bringing this to light!! I appreciate you so much for sharing for all the other kiddos around the world who are are in the same boat as you😊😊😊
This kiddo is so cute and funny. ❤I'm loving to learn more about these kinds of things and see what it's like for those who have it. I'm happy to see him so happy, and manage things so well! God's blessings to him and his family!
What a beautiful kid! I know this video is old but I hope he continues to thrive. I hope he is supported by a couple of good friends and his loving family. Thank you for sharing Rylans story.
eye contact avoidance isnt always just autism guys, it can be just imaginative or in their head, even if they are focused, im not autistic and i dont make eye contact when im listening and being spoken to
I am developing a novel in which one of the character's has both Tourette's and Autism as well. This was really helpful in her development so thank you! I'm finding that I really enjoy this channel so I might just have to subscribe! 😁 Keep doing what you're doing dude, this was awesome to watch and Rylan seems like a great kid.
My son had ticks with his Aspbergers Syndrome. He has those managed today. The eye contact is a constant struggle and very misunderstood! He would experience sensory overload like in a class room he would hear every noice and it affected his concentration. The key is understanding each childs obstacle and fine a way to tackle it or a coping skill.
My daughter has mild Tourettes. Some tics can get painful or cause physical problems like injuries even in some mild cases. But she just plunges forward, doesn't let it get her down. She's also open about Tourettes with friends or anyone that seems curious about it. She helps others to understand.
yes, i have tics and like with a sneeze, eventually you have to let it out most of the time but you can hold it back for a certain amount of time, it just hurts a LOT
My son has autism and an undiagnosed tourette, hes in puperty now and its really hard for him to accept that hes different. This interview actually helped me to understand my own son better.
Rylan is a cool kid! He's really good at explaining what's going on inside his head and how it feels. I think you're right, Rylan that we can understand how it feels to be stressed and tired. I'm sorry that you feel that way so much of the time. I hope you will be able to learn strategies for helping you live a very happy life. 😎 one of my favorites is Craniosacral therapy. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for sharing this video I have a daughter with autism that has the same tics and sounds.! I didn't even think it could be tourette syndrome but thanks to the video I now know my daughter has tourette syndrome and autism both.!🙋 He is such a beautiful and sweet intelligent boy.!😊 I hope you can make an update video I would love to see how he is doing much love and prayers to him and his family.!!!!🙏💕 🤗👍
I have tics too and maybe autism but it's not diagnosed. I know how it feels dude it gets better after puberty trust me if you're reading this you got this ✊🏻
Very smart and adorable young man. I love you. I’m a 70 year old lady who had Tourette’s. When. I Was a teenager. Stress would cause me to stretch my eyes open wide and blow air into them .
I’m autistic as well myself and I was born with high functioning moderate autism spectrum and severe Asperger’s syndrome and I’m a 18 year old young woman I’m very capable with things and I’m very intelligent as well.😊
Rylan is awesome. He's pretty funny. I think it would be great if Pokémon were alive. I laughed so much at his Pokémon card with the attack yawn story. I just yawned typing that sentence lol! You're great Rylan!
Rylan you're very intelligent and a very nice friend ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I had ticks when i was a teen and i was twitching my head, making a high pitch noise with my throat and kick the air with my foot. My mom brought me to the chiro and he cracked my neck and told me to count to 60 between ticks and it calmed me. Tourette is not the same guess. Have a good life my friend.
I have both as well. Along with abnormal chromosomes, seizures, and 6'5" while taking medication for Osteoporosis. Let's not forget the schizophrenia, and bipolar diagnosis. I'm not complaining just giving you all the reasons to be thankful 🙏. People are in alot worst conditions. And for those who are living in USA, we have more resources here. My age is 27/male
idk why but when i am tired, exhausted, or hungry, my autistic tics become almost constant. my autistic tics mostly include, curling my fingers or toes, twitching my leg, or making a quiet humming noise. it’s annoying, but i got used to it. this for some reason caused them to be constant. :)
I love that would talk about pokemon cards and it looks like he love collecting them i also love pokemon he is an amazing kid and a gifted child from god what a cool dude😎😎👍🤟
I love his response to "do you have a hard time making eye contact". He doesn't have a hard time with it, because he simply makes eye contact when he wants to! It's other people who are having a hard time with what he's doing!
I wonder why we have to manage our tics? Why can’t other people LEARN to ignore them. Simple, basic manners. People seem to accept what they can see. Can’t see the brain, so we are expected to control it. Been dealing with the tics and comorbids, which few interviewers as about, for 70 years. This kid was wonderful and only some one with Tourette’s would appreciate how wonderful his mom is!
Ik he's a little kid n all an I'm a 30 yr old woman (on my grandpa btw) my name Cera. But I could relate to the autistic ticks.. I have a form of autism OBD organic brain disorder, I have ADHD an my younger brother has tourettes an I'm starting to believe I do as well bc I get bad autistic random adhd ticks just like that an also believe I have D.I.D. like I switch personality an age regression it's complicated but a mixture of D.I.D. , autistim , adhd, age regression an tourettes
I can't look at you with both eyes, my one eye wonders, so I am looking at you, it just my one eye wonders, it's so annoying when I see my picture, because my one eye is looking at you or the camera and my other eye is looking to the left or right, depending which eye it is.
I had a roommate who i thought just hated me cuz she would do this thing where she stomped really hard 3 times but only in her room. Took me a year to figure out she wasnt evil but had tourettes
