Great video, Terry. Enquiring minds want to know: Why maintain a full catalog of three different brands of cement? When would you choose Tamiya vs. MIG vs. MR.? For example, it seems they all have an extra thin type, but why keep all three "extra thins"?
I can't say it was planned. Just a "try this, try that" coupled with what was available at the time. There are people who just use MEK and never buy a bottle of cement in their life and do well with it. Acetone too from what I hear. The big thing is the differing viscosities with me, brand isn't as important. I like an extra thin, medium and slow available at all times as I build everything from 1/72 fighters to 1/32 bombers and they all have their own needs.
Thanks for this, I'm getting into model building and this has been extremely useful
Thanks for stopping in! Now that summer is closer to an end, I will be putting more out.
Excellent experiments 🧪🥼
Thanks for your efforts and time to do this videos!
Go on soldier!!
Good to see another informative Video. Some people enjoy the ' nit picky minutia ' :)
Every informative. I would love to see a bench/workshop tour
I thought about that, but then again I don't want the nasty comments some of the other guys got.
