Garlic itself is not forbidden. The Hadith states don’t eat it and go to the mosque. Also when prepared in moderation in a dish, you don’t smell it.
Everything halal to eat is halal, but everything is to be eaten in moderation, and if something is physically harmful to you, then you should avoid it completely.

There are products that you can eat with garlic and onion and the smell goes away and to eat garlic is not allowed when you go public praying in mosque but allowed when you use it for an health issue ,,about beef is to boil the beef and close the top of the pot cause the health benefits is hidden in his smoke that leaves the pot when you cook or boil it open,,,about milk is milk make your burning stomach cool down and dates burn your cold stomach,,,nowadays good healthy milk is rare ,,so i choose more to eat butter,yogurt and cheese and for people with diabetes its not healthy to drink milk ,cause instead to fill your bones with calcium, it washes away and bones get thin and breakable.
cooking takes out the smell of garlic/onion but it also degrades the nutrients. garlic and onion have been historically used for medicinal purposes when taken raw strictly as a medicine for thousands of years. it is only recently in history like in Mediterranean dishes that the use of raw garlic/onion was introduced into regular food. but i'm pretty sure the sunnah allows to eat cooked garlic/onion but not in raw form unless it's for medicinal use, due to its strong odor.

Beef or any meat or animal foods in general are the most nutrient dense and the healthiest foods, especially organ meats. Obesity have become so common now a days due to so many carbs we eat everyday, thanks to all the marketing behind "plant based" and "fat free" diets. Animal foods have no carbs except dairy but the amount is negligible. People do understand the harms of eating alot of sugar but laymen do not know that "carbohydrates" is another name of sugar and they are abundant in almost all of the "sugar free" foods that they eat, bread being the most common one.
Though having any food every now and then is fine but overall an animal based low carb, high protein and fat is the way to eat to avoid obesity and have optimal health.

1) Give a copy of the Qur'an to someone. Each time one reads from it you gain.
2) Donate a wheelchair to a hospital. Each time a sick person uses it you gain.

Regarding cow , meat , garlic , onion...Islam warned it . Specially regarding meat and it's addiction similar like alcohol which causes health issues. Same thing also similar in Hinduism too . That's a very interesting topic to learn who do compartive studies of religions.
I have gout, foot swelling, an illness, and my doctor told me to stay off red meat. Done.
