Jazakumullahu Khairan, this video helped me do an act of kindness to my ex again. Although he continues to hurt me I still tried to remain civil, be better than him and be kind knowing this is what pleases Allah. But my ex keeps taking my kindness as a sign of my willingness to continue to allow him to hurt me. That’s totally not the case, he must be very very blind and hard hearted to take my kindness as anything other than that. I’ve advised him to stop oppressing me and taking advantage of me but he refuses to repent or change his ways. He’s actually getting worse. If he tries to tear down my boundaries again because of one plate of food, I will go back to zero contact and no kind gestures that he chooses to misinterpret. Allah knows my intentions He is all seeing.
@@nexhatqorraj4027 my story is too long. For the past decade I’m living alone in a foreign country with my children. I have no family support and the local authorities will not help me. I don’t have a choice but to live off what ever my ex husband will provide. Since I refuse to have a haram relationship with my ex, he punishes me by withholding things we need and escalating his harassment. Allah has blessed him with wealth but he doesn’t share it with his children. His parents are more wealthy but don’t share with the children either to prevent the barakah reach me too. I can’t legally work here to provide for my children. I chose to support my ex husband while he built his businesses and stay at home to raise our family instead of pursuing a career of my own. It seems I have very little now but Alhamdulilah Allah already blessed me with guidance after the divorce, I know the value of guidance 🥹 If I can manage to stay patient I’ll have more happiness and joy in the afterlife than I could ever imagine. I would love to have a paying job of any kind. So I make Duā for that, but for now I must be happy I’m being provided for even if it’s just the basics and I have time to focus on Allah and my children.

He uses his control to hurt us on a daily basis. I tried reasoning with him kindly but that only led to him asking me to engage in a haram relationship with him. He didn’t offer me marriage because he knows I wouldn’t accept because he’s not willing to change. He thought I would accept to do haram to literally get a few extra dinars every month. He is very wealthy and his parents are too. They live lavish lifestyles. But they don’t share with my kids worried the Barakah could reach me too. I know Allah is my provider so I don’t worry. I’m on a strict monthly budget. I invested my time in my ex and in raising our children instead of perusing a career of my own. I can’t find work here. He’s punishing us by harassing me and my kids and withholding basic needs. He and his family turn a blind eye and refuse to accept any responsibility for all the injustices committed against us. They are trying hard to teach my kids oppression in a marriage or divorce is normal. The local elders or authorities will not help us. I’ve lost so much it’s too long to mention here but after the divorce Allah blessed me with guidance. If I can remain patient I will have true joy and happiness in the afterlife inshallah. I used to dream of a happy Dunya now I dream about our happy akhera, inshallah. I’m learning more and more everyday.. this is a blessing.

Basically I don’t have a choice I’m in a situation where my ex is forcing me to engage but since I don’t he’s taking out his anger on our children. We don’t have support from anyone here, not his family or the authorities. We live in a foreign country I can’t leave with my children without his permission.
