Aside from showing the actual product and what it looked like (this is almost pure text and no design) …Only immediate change id is on literal font size. Don’t write out every word. Make presentation talking points and make sure text that does exist can be seen from 10ft distance. Think Apple keynotes, they tell, show, tell, show, never even speaking the text on screen as it’s so big it speaks for itself. Eg 10x faster.
Your input is really insightful but also understand this was what worked for her 2 years ago and she stated things would be done differently and better if done today.
Hi thanks so much for the video, it's extremely helpful. Question: how long do you aim to take to present a case study like this? Because generally in interviews I've been given like 20min for 2 cases (so 10 minutes a case), I'm curious to understand how you accommodate the time factor? Thanks!
Thanks so much! So in my case, I was encouraged to go into a lot of details, I had about 1 hour as well. For shorter presentations, you can for sure trim out excess info and just focus on the problem, the solution and the impact ❤️
I’d really focus on what your strengths are. Don’t go for quantity of skill or the fact that you simply did something you liked. They don’t need assets. They need stories and visuals that tell that story. Shape or animation creation is not a focus for hiring managers. It’s your ability to reason that asset into the final outcome of the original goals
Thanks for the great video! I've been having trouble with my portfolio. Quick question: Can I skip the research process in my case study if the Product Manager gives me only a Product Requirement Document without research feedback?
Could you please share a complete presentation instead of a step-by-step explanation of what you would say? This would be significantly more helpful. Thank you!

Hey Sharon, when did you present this presentation? During interview time? Is there any tips on resume preparing at least to appear for the interview?
A new subscriber here! what tool you've used to create these slides ?

Do they always require a ux presentation during the interview? This usually comes after 1st round right?
Clean layout

Do you only have 1 case study in your portfolio?
No, I was asked to present 2. For this video I focused on just 1
@@SharonOnyinye what do you suggest if all project from your last company were under NDA and you cant showcase them in your portfolio?

Case studies don’t get anyone hired. Case studies don’t make decisions for people.
