Disagree, slower boat has no idea he has a boat coming up on him he's not aware of his surroundings he is also going. Way to fast for that tiny boat causing anyone needing to pass him to floor it. He should have paid attention slowed down so the passing boat could have done so with as minimal wake and if this situation happens the slower boat should have got behind the passing boats wake when safely to do so. I see in the video he had plenty of time to get out of the passing boats wake.
Thats negligent boating.... the accident could have been avoided by both of the drivers by slowing down and i can infer by your cheering and laughter that you did not go see if he was okay or needed help wich i might add is illegal considering your boat was involved in the crash by creating the wake

The conditions here do not warrant a pass of a stand by vessel in any way shape or form. He as the stand on vessel should have taken the precaution of slowing down since you as the give way vessel was driving in an unsafe manner

No the guy in the small boat seen them coming up on him nothing says they must stay behind him. He should have slowed down and let the wake go by him but he chose to play like he was on a wake board. If you look again he is swirling his arm in the air telling them to come on and pass. They probably all knew each other that's the way it looks to me.
The experience level of the forward the passed boat is a major consideration. Just because you are the faster boat does not give you carte blanch of the he water
