John Mayer just feels so American. I live in hk now and everytime I want to remember the good times in the States I just pop on some JM and it's all fixed.
Probably my favorite two songs from JM! (Even though he didn’t create in your atmosphere I love his cover in his live in LA performance) didn’t know something’s missing is in the same tuning! Definitely need to learn something’s missing, I learned in your atmosphere earlier this year.

Did he? Cause he was writing "In Your Atmosphere" about the time he did the Any Given Thursday DVD. On the Sound Check he was playing that song. And that was when Something's Missing was a new song. I'm just putting two and two together, he might have had the melody but had just not written the song till later.
and I'm pretty sure he wrote these two songs at pretty much the same time. The sound so amazing... I wonder how many people want his level of talent? *Raises hand* one over here...

He did! On a tour bus in Birmingham which is why they’re both in that Esus2 tuning. Gorgeous. ❤
