It is entertaining to watch because I don't usually read stories about the lore of some events, plus the voice of Daddy Elgin is really good and fitting for telling stories. Man, i miss these types of vids when elgin used to do storytelling for other heroes in the past. I really wish they could update the lore for older heroes cuz their lores and how they fit in the land of dawn sometimes just makes it all a mess and hard to connect it altogether. My opinion about the revamped heroes if your interested...(my comment is pretty long) *Vexana* - I played a few classic matches using vexana and i think she's a great support.. her 1st and 2nd skill has a great cc and her ult is very useful for tower diving and cancelling annoying skills like franco and oddette's ult, and there is a very annoying bug where I can't use her free skin from the training event thing. *Leomord* - i haven't tried the revamped leomord yet, but i think he seems balanced, he would be better if he can heal by hitting the turrets just like when he was first released lol. *Faramis* - faramis's revamp is my favorite, he's definitely going to be a very useful support even the cd of his ult is pretty long.. Tl;dr: Vexana is more like support now, leomord seems balanced, and faramis is a potential meta unit
Cursed Maiden - Noble Duchess Necromancer - Loyal Servant Undead Knight - Royal Guard The more you know. But seriously, I really haven't known much about their characters' backstory but seems like a significant scale of change is applied. It is fair for Vexana to have her happy ending against her supposed "nemesis" which made her a loser in terms of the affair lol. If I remember right, the original backstory years back then was that Alice seduced the king and out of jealousy Vexana made a pact with the Dark Lord. This eventually caused a chain of dark events which lead to the fall of their empire. The old lore had so many effed up things brought up by Alice, which made her sobriquet Queen of Apocalypse so apt. From the kidnapping of Dyrroth, to the massacre of Pharsa's home, to the separation of Karina and Selena, and the slavery and brainwashing of Balmond.
So Moonton fully retconned the story of Necrokeep? I was expecting Natan to alter something which leads to the rework. Nice effort for Moonton and your narration though.

i always knew I was right to stan the undead characters. they're all victims of a larger and stronger empire's greed, and history got twisted around (by said victors no less 🙄) to make it look like they're the bad guys. I will mourn that Vexana and Faramis' villainy isn't as campy and irredeemable anymore, but it's still radical to give them the narrative that they only do things that the empire propogates as 'evil' to protect their home & people. I think Vexana and Lapu-Lapu would be good friends 😂 Love how Leomord, Vex, and Faramis (hoping moskov too!) are more like a real, healthy, tight-knit family. mlbb may be retconning a lot but they're making an amazing story

If I remember right, the original backstory years back then was that Alice seduced the king and out of jealousy Vexana made a pact with the Dark Lord. This eventually caused a chain of dark events which lead to the fall of their empire. The old lore had so many effed up things brought up by Alice, which made her sobriquet Queen of Apocalypse so apt. From the kidnapping of Dyrroth, to the massacre of Pharsa's home, to the separation of Karina and Selena, and the slavery and brainwashing of Balmond.
So Moonton fully retconned the story of Necrokeep? I was expecting Natan to alter something which leads to the rework. Nice effort for Moonton and your narration though.

i always knew I was right to stan the undead characters. they're all victims of a larger and stronger empire's greed, and history got twisted around (by said victors no less 🙄) to make it look like they're the bad guys.
I will mourn that Vexana and Faramis' villainy isn't as campy and irredeemable anymore, but it's still radical to give them the narrative that they only do things that the empire propogates as 'evil' to protect their home & people. I think Vexana and Lapu-Lapu would be good friends 😂
Love how Leomord, Vex, and Faramis (hoping moskov too!) are more like a real, healthy, tight-knit family. mlbb may be retconning a lot but they're making an amazing story
