- So in this game, I'm going to try out the least picked mage.
She's one of the forgotten heroes in the Land of Dawn, The Necromancer, Vexana.

Back in the days during her OP era, I used her so often that I got 500+ matches with 70% winrate... Even after she died, you can get a TRIPPLE KILL because of how strong her puppet was!
I got maniac after dead ...
I started playing ML near end of Season 6. And, Vexana was my favourite. After mastering her I reached to Epic 1 although I was very new player. I miss that old day...
Ult on late game mm was so fun.. esp when moskov was unkillable

I was last stand in Mega tower.
I got enemy's mm Irithel.
At the same time some of my team revived. I got maniac and enemy wide out.
We won that battle.
(It was also in Season 6).
Yeah the puppet gotten slower
her ultimate is good to use on the lategame enemy marksman❤️

Elgin! As a Vexana main, let me suggest these:
- Use magic boots, enchanted talisman, and fleeting time for 45% CDR. To frequently use her ultimate. You’d be surprised by the damage she’ll be able to deal without CoD+Truncheon combo.
- Use the puppets as vision in bushes and behind her.
- Always place her melee puppets in he middle of the clash and place ranged puppets far from the clash to deal damage optimally according to their kind.
- The puppets are also as strong as her 2nd skill in damage. Puppets with high hp deal more damage in their aura and her ultimate in lvl.3 with marksman puppets can copy their basic attack damage as 1:1.
That's why I prefer either tank or mm as my puppet lol
Try dire hit roamer with her. I find her quite playable with roamer

Chances of wining with vexena are less ur team won't support I lost many match because team won't help otherwise vexena is best mage sepcially for teamfight if u got a tank like tigrel nad one hero who can damage u can wipeout 5 enemy at once. Even if it is 3 vs 5

Honestly, she is what got me into mages. I loved her kit, and her damage from spreading her mark properly in a wave. It was great. Now... she isnt all that good, but shes got good team disrupt.
I love using Her as a Support She is good in annoying enemy hero specially with her Ult You gain extra Hero in your team for a moment

The key is to ultimate on the strongest hero enemy and use it on other enemy heroes hehe
Base on the situation, if your team need someone who tanky use your ultimate on tank
I use the ult on fighters and tanks so they can last longer and do some dmg.
Marksman are always the best target, but they are so hard to reach mostly if the backline is guarded by the tank.
Assassins are not good to be cloned coz they just die right away
I use the ultimate on a Roger, i got a maniac

Vexana was a good mage before until the nerf hammer hits her hard. Just bring back the speed of her first skill and the chasing puppet then she's good to go.

Me who enjoy building her the one shot build and watched as my enemy with low health panicked because they cant use heal and cant return to base quickly.

4:37 this is slightly misinformation. vexana can also summon her puppet without having to kill the enemy. you just need to wait a few seconds for the puppet to be summoned.

HEAR ME OUT, like what if they revamp her passive from aoe damage, into aoe fear? and to be more realistic ,because i can totally see her being too OP if they retain the rules of her current passive (which is every time she hits either skill of basic attack the passive triggers) she can only mark enemies/minions/monsters with her first skill to trigger the passive.

Two years later, the mage that once was forgotten transformed into one of the most picked and ban hero in Mobile Legends.
GlowingWand+LightningTruncheon works good on her. He can proc LT's passive twice just by ulting someone.

Once in Brawl when Vexana was recently added, I had low HP and my allies were dead. The entire enemy was chasing me but what I didn't notice is that all of them had the same amount of HP I had. In order to slow them down, I used my 2nd second. They got hit and died immediately and got Savage.

Vexana's skill is really satisfying to watch imo.
Her first and second skill has smooth animations, and if you combo the skills, it is really satisfying.
Been commenting "Vexana revemp" on your vids for a whole season (which is my last, I stopped playing after WR arrived). She was my main before these OP heroes arrived, and changed to Faramis (which seems to be a forgotten one too. Btw I'm best with Faramis).
Tip: Use Vex ult to high HP users (usually tank) and boost it with Glowing Wand. Focus your build with CD and MagicPen. Move speed is optional, just make sure your position is good. Also, disregard survival items like Athena's shield, just read the map and locate where the one-hitter is, distance yourself during clash and join clash from behind better from bushes.
I've not been forgetting this hero in a while because I always pick/using Vexana in *Brawl Mode immediately* because she has a seasonal skin too for +8 Magic Power but she's still an OP hero because of her 2nd skill AoE damage and I enjoy using her.

Actually to maintain Vexana's heavy magic damage and not being a squishy hero I suggest usinh this build [Demon shoes,Clock of destiny, Magic Wand, Immortality] and the rest can be sorted out throughout the battlefield

I use her from time to time, and the problem with her is that her skills have to be VERY well targetted, her ult dosent do much dmg and if the enemy makes one magic defese item her ult is literally useless. But shes still fun to use if you make her burn items she can get really annoying to deal!

If you guys want a trick for very hard continous damage. Use the item magic scither(i forgot the name of the item) but it works like this. Vexana ult has an cooldown to respawn enemy soul puppet. Of 1 s or less. You can abuse this respawn to active the scithe real damage effects and the other buff of the passive. With basic atack. Pick the enemy tank. An keep spamming the puppet and basic atack on the enemy. The scithe has cooldown of some seconds though . But i Guess is worth . I like to use on aurora as one of the middle itens to eliminate minion waves faster. Since i need aurora passive skill to be available sometimes makes her very bad to just throw away skills casting her freeze.
Maybe they can give her movement boost when she lands her fist skill (like ceci) and make the clone be controlled or change position with vexana (like natan).
I also like the puppet on her ulti, I hope you'll also make a video for the revamp vexana in advance server, I wanted to learn it from you because yeah I did learn a lot from watching your game plays

What she needs is a revamp like making her 1st deal more damage and changing her 2nd or making it easy to aim while her as for her Ult maybe they should buff it or add slow or silence effect
you could also have bought demon shoes as the first item for that mana supply for the first few minutes

She's a forgetten Mage indeed. I remember last 2018, she's one of the feared mage because of her puppets. They're annoying to deal with. However, Moonton nerfed the sensitivity of her puppets. That's when players started to pick her less. Moreover, her skills have delays. Plus no mobility.

She was my main until they reworked her. I have no problem with the new vexana but i miss the old one and players really didn't know how to utilize her. She was really good with squishy heroes and in teamfights
Honestly the only expection I can see Vexana being pick is if enemy is doing a tanky team composition or a 5 man close range composition.
Especially if it's a 5 man tank cause she's certainly a sort of Anti tank pick tbh.
btw the wording on her ult is kinda misleading well on how I read it tbh lelz. Because even without the target dies you can still get a puppet but yeah another reason for vexana not being popular as before is because of the chase nerf on her puppet. Similar to Diggie's bombs and Nana's Molina although Vexana's got affected first. And honestly it's was so annoying that it would chase you until you die or it timer runs out.
I play Vexana in SoloQ. It went well. Specially when we have good core or tank.

@Tigreal Carmilla has a 70% slow, one of the strongest spead ups and stuns in the game... how is she bad at chasing people down, that's like her specialty
You can play her as tank support. The core item just like Elgin said, is the Enchanted Talisman.
After that, you can start to build tank items on her.
With tank build, of course, you will have small damage on skills 1 and 2, but skill 3 is not.
Its damage is based on who you lay a curse
If it is a Tank, you can just use skill 3 to drop the tank into the enemy team (DPS damage based on Tank max HP)
If it is a Markman, just use skill 3 to position, you will have 6 vs 5 (DPS based on attack rating)
Well if it is mage :v nah just drop them into enemy team =)
I don't forget about Vexana. When, I play her at Classic. Thing seems different. Her damage from second skills is okay but not good enough to burst like old times.
She is slow as usual and can walk along side Aurora.
Vexana revamp coming early 2022. Can’t wait. She was my first hero I got expert in when I first played in 2019
The Only Problem Is All Her Skill Animation Is Very Slow.
Her first skill is not terrifying but feels like waking up to reality
And now she’s the “TOP PICKED QUEEN/PRINCESS MAGE “ in Season 31, 32 and many more seasons to go……
Vexana is good if the enemy line up is Basic Attack reliant. With her Ult, once you set it up on their MM, if the MM does not have any Magic Resistance, Vexana's Ult can pretty much kill it, plus, with the clone of that MM, inheriting the original's Basic Attack is a huge help for the team.
That is probably why she wasnt picked more often, because she counters MM and MM are actually not in the Meta, except for the current one.
The revamped Vexana with better skill set will for sure make it on the meta.
Why did Montoon had to change her looks she was so unique back then now she has a baby face.
